I purchased a 2007 Honda Element from Northwest Honda yesterday evening. I had been looking for a good Element for several weeks. There are not many really nice ones out there and Northwest had listed on yesterday evening. I had been looking for a good Element for several weeks. There are not many really nice ones out there and Northwest had listed on-line one I wanted to look at--great condition, low miles, manual transmission, and Honda certified. From my first call to Max Cho I felt like Northwest Honda was a professional and low pressure place. That convinced me to travel from Bethesda to Owings Mills to look at the car. When I arrived the car looked as good as on the website and as described, except for stains on the front seats. Matt said that they would get their seat guy in to do a thorough seat cleaning and would also fully detail the car--they took care of that in the course of two days and I was able to go back up on the train yesterday with the comfort that everything would have been taken care of. Max came to Penn Station in Baltimore to pick me up and I drove the Element home via Frederick last night. Overall just a great experience, and those seats are completely clean. More
I bought a 2011 Accord coupe. After about 350 miles I determined that I did not like the car. I went back to NorthWest and ask him what he could do for me. Max said he was sorry I did not like the car. determined that I did not like the car. I went back to NorthWest and ask him what he could do for me. Max said he was sorry I did not like the car. He treated me very professionally. He showed me and I drove about 5-6 differnt new cars. I looked at a 2011 Civic coupe. He did everything he could to make sure I liked the Civic. His sales manager Deryl, let me take the car home, show my wife and drive it around for about a hour. I came back to the dealer and he gave me a good deal on my brand new Accord for a trade in. I bought the Civic coupe. I really like this car. Max and his sales manger Deryl was very good to work with. I would definitely recommend NorthWest Honda to my friends. Bill Sullivan More
This is probably the 12th car my family has purchased from Northwest and Mark and they are an absolute pleasure to work with. After you leave, you feel like you've just had a cozy visit with good friends from Northwest and Mark and they are an absolute pleasure to work with. After you leave, you feel like you've just had a cozy visit with good friends. Never pushy, always honest, just delightful. I won't go into details but just had to trade in an almost-new car that had been in a bad accident and Mark was incredibly helpful in dealing with the body shop that did poor work (NOT Northwest) and getting compensation from the insurance company. They are the best! More

Although I test drove several cars with him, he did not pressure me into purchasing anything when I explained that I was not ready to talk numbers. Instead, he patiently and professionally answered all my questions and was perfectly understanding when I told him that I needed to go home to do some additional research before making a decision. When I arrived the next week, he greeted me like an old friend. After I revealed to the staff a very competitive price quote that I had received from another dealership, they agreed to match the price. Previously, I had spent many hours inquiring after a large number of Honda dealers in Maryland to find the best price, but Northwest was able to beat them all. Afterwards, they followed up with e-mails and phone calls to ensure that everything was in order and to remind me that I should not hesitate to call or stop by if I ever have any questions, concerns, or problems with the car. In summary, if you want the competitive prices of a top-notch dealer with the personable service of a friendly, family-owned establishment, then Northwest Honda is the dealership for you. More
I was very satisfied with my experience at Northwest Honda. As a first time car buyer, I was very nervous about being taken advantage of, but this was not the case at all at Northwest Honda. Timothy Man Honda. As a first time car buyer, I was very nervous about being taken advantage of, but this was not the case at all at Northwest Honda. Timothy Mance "Country" was down to earth and really went to bat for me. He worked with me and my budget to make sure I got the car that I wanted with affordable payments. I would highly recommend Timothy Mance "Country"!! More
I went in for an oil change for my 2010 Honda Civic 2 weeks ago. They checked everything and told me it looked "great". Well...yesterday my oil indicator light came on as I was pulling into a parking spa weeks ago. They checked everything and told me it looked "great". Well...yesterday my oil indicator light came on as I was pulling into a parking space. I checked the oil level and the dipstick had NO oil on it!! That was strange, given that I just had my oil changed and was given documentation proving that everything was fine. However, everything was obviously not fine. I purchased 5 quarts of the recommended oil type, put 4 quarts of it in the appropriate spot, and checked the oil again; it looked fine. Then, as I drove a seven to ten minute distance home, the car started to make a crackling noise and the oil indicator light came on about every 20 seconds. At this time, the Honda dealership was closed, so I waited until they opened in the morning and called them. I explained the situation and was told by Eric and Service Tech Darryl to try and drive it to the dealership, if oil is in the car. I noticed a puddle of oil underneath my car, I checked the dipstick, and oil was on it. I proceeded to drive towards the dealership, only to have my car stall on me twice, the battery light come on, and the car completely stop and fail to restart. I called the dealership and they gave me the number to roadside assistance. After sitting on the side of the road in 20 degree weather, watching cars speed by for 45 minutes, the tow truck arrived. I dropped my car off and called the dealership 3 hours later for an update. Eric told me that a "seal was leaking" and they had ordered the parts to fix it. He said my car should be ready by tomorrow evening. He said everything is covered under warranty, so it shouldn't be a problem. I asked what seal was leaking, he couldn't tell me. I asked why the seal was leaking, he couldn't tell me. He said that there actually wasn't any oil in the car when I drove it. I told him I checked before I drove it. He said it hadn't circulated and the engine seized. I asked if the integrity of my engine was compromised, he told me no. Hmmmm....I need to know why. Apparently, Eric actually didn't know the answers to my questions at the time I asked. After further investigation, technicians determined that my engine had to be replaced and the actual cause would be determined by the manufacturer. I was notified of their discovery the morning after I dropped my car off, and was given a thorough explanation by Mike, the Service Manager. Because I have an extended warranty (Thank God, I purchased this), I was able to receive a rental car from Enterprise, free of charge. The car I received was unattractive, but it was free. Eric called me later in the evening to tell me that my car was ready. I breathed a sigh of relief. When I went to pick up my car it was shining! I didn't recognize it for a second. When I turned my car in, it was covered in snow remnants; that was no longer the case. The inside of my car was spotless. I think they even polished my leather! All the technicians were courteous, notably, Eric and Jesse. I was a disgruntled customer yesterday, but today I am pleased! More
Buying a car from northwest pre-owned was a great experience. The customer service and management was excellent. But what made this a even better experience was the salesmanship I received from Antho experience. The customer service and management was excellent. We've been looking for a new car for some time. I had originally inquired online about a new Honda Odyssey & Harry was extremely responsive. He promptly followed up with emails and phone calls. We originally inquired online about a new Honda Odyssey & Harry was extremely responsive. He promptly followed up with emails and phone calls. We actually walked out of another dealership because the salesperson kept us waiting for over an hour while other salespeople were looking for something to do. We were waiting for our trade to be appraised. While roaming around the showroom, we received another email from Harry and decide to leave and drive to Northwest Honda. Upon arrival, Carroll warmly greeted us and explained that Harry was actually not working that day. Carroll excused himself to call Harry at home and said that he and Harry would be working as a team to assist us. Both Carroll and Harry were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, responsive and helpful. It was not a high pressure sales experience. Carroll really worked with us to get the car we really liked at a price where we were comfortable. The finance process was equally pleasant. Lee was very helpful and thorough. I had done my research and walked into the process prepared. He was able to provide me with some additional information that I really appreciated. I felt comfortable during the entire experience. When we picked up our new van, Carroll spent significant time explaining all of the vehicle's features and helped us set up several features. He also explained the features to my kids so they understood how the rear controls and the rear entertainment system worked. I really appreciated his attention to detail and willingness to teach. Harry was working that day and also came up to introduce himself in person and thank us for our business. I will definitely return to Northwest Honda for service and when it's time to purchase our next vehicle. More
