Carroll Brown at Northwest Honda was superb in customer service! This was my first new car and I am 57 years old. Carroll went out of his way time and again to make sure I got what I wanted and even afte service! This was my first new car and I am 57 years old. However, I was and still am very disappointed in the finance department. His name is Leendert Tijpers. When I went into his office to sign the papers, he had already added the lifetime warranty to the paperwork. When I asked what it was, he replied, "You need this!" Assumption is NOT a good quality when dealing with the public. I had chosen lots of extras but after seeing the total I told him that I had to think about it overnight. The next morning I called and spoke to Mr. Tijpers and he was very disappointed that I chose to cut out any extras at that time. I asked him to call me back with the total amount due for the car as I wanted to come and pick it up the following day. HE did NOT call me back at all. It took me calling and asking for the sales manager to get the total amount due. When I went in to pick up my car, Carroll Brown went up and beyond to accommodate me. He even had to go into the finance office and get the paperwork as Mr. Leendert Tijpers did not want to fool with it. I find this totally unprofessional and although he may get HIGH sales through the financial department, I find it dishonest. I would like someone from Honda Headquarters to look into this. If you decide to go, ask for Carroll Brown! You will not be disappointed. BUT beware when stepping into the finance office of Leendart Tijpers and be sure to check out all the numbers. Hes in it for the buck and with our state of economy we need people like Carroll Brown around! In closing, again, I have great memories with Carroll Brown and how he handled my sale but I have NO confidence in the finance manager. Also he should be reprimanded for not coming out to let me sign the papers on my new car. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! More
My experience with Northwest Honda dates back to 1994 at which time I bought a 1994 Honda Accord. I had the vehicle serviced for 17 years by the excellent service staff which I feel was paramount to the lon which time I bought a 1994 Honda Accord. The staff at Northwest was courteous, friendly and very eager to please. I can't imagine a more pleasant experience in purchasing a new vehicle. I would highly recommend Northwest Honda in Owings Mills, Md to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle. More

I am a member of the Consumers Report Buying Service. The dealer accepted the Service's qouted price and gave me what I thought was reasonable for my trade-in. The financing process was efficient with appropriate encouragement to tack on add-ons. My declination for all add-ons was given respectful defference. The sales person was extremely knowledgable about the car I was interested in and ultimately bought. After his tutorial I felt I didn't need the manual to properly use many features of the vehicle. Everyone I came in contact with at the dealership washelpful and courteous. I drove up from Washington, DC and arrived 15 minutes prior to closing. In spite of this, I was not rushed. More
I was looking for a Honda Accord coupe, and Northwest Honda was the only dealership in within 100 miles that had it. Because I didn't have a car at the time, Northwest Honda offered to pick me up from the nearby train station, which was about 20 miles away. Darby, the salesperson, picked me up, gave me a full overview of the car, and walked me through the purchasing process. Elliot then gave me a great tutorial about how to use the bluetooth setup and demonstrated some of the other interested features in the car. From start to finish, it was a great experience, and I can't recommend Northwest Honda enough. More
Darby Pelton, the sales person, was informative, knowledgeable and pleasantly patient. She took time to understand my needs, my concerns and helped me deal with my anxieties as well(my 2004 CRV Hon knowledgeable and pleasantly patient. Darby gave me all the facts and then she gave me space so I could make my own decision. Never was she pushy about the sale nor did she pressure me to buy the vehicle. She was thorough in demonstrating all the features during the test drive and she even went over the features and important tips again before I drove off in my new 2011 CRV. I really appreciated her low key approach and pleasant personality. Overall, the sales experience and finance service (Bert Cho, Business Manager) were excellent. More
Purchased a used vehicle and the dealer stated they would immediately fix existing issues and provide additional key/remote. Once purchase was made, emails and phone calls were not returned and they stated a immediately fix existing issues and provide additional key/remote. I have dealt with Northwest Honda since 1997 and was very ssatisfied, this is why I wanted to buy my new car from this dealership. I used to come in at every 3,000 miles for my oil change and whatever my ho ssatisfied, this is why I wanted to buy my new car from this dealership. I used to come in at every 3,000 miles for my oil change and whatever my honda civic needed I took care of it and was very happy with the workmanship and especially dealing with Paul Laborta (service advisor). Paul is ALWAYS friendly and very helpful. My salesman with my 2012 Civic EX-L is Robert Pullo who I found to be very knowlegable, friendly, and has lots of patience. Robert is the one who sat with me today 6/27/11 and went over everything on how to operate Navigation, XM Radio, lights, etc. Everything is so different on this new Civic than my old 1997 and Robert was just wonderful. Robert told me that if I have any more questions about my new 2012 Civic don't hesitate and come in he would be more than glad to help me. I do recommend this dealership to friends. My son buys his cars here also. My overall rating is the highest that anyone can give. I am so happy and everyone is so friendly. More
Earlier that morning my vehhicle was stolen and later found. I originally went to northwest to get the key re-programmed as the person that stole my car also had a key to the car. I went over to the sales side as I thought my finance paperwork was stolen also. I met with Lane who was very helpful and took the time to speak with me...he suggested that I might to trade the car in we spoke a little more and I ended buying a 2011 Honda Odyssey which was the model and the make of the car I traded in but this one had more bows and whistles. The sales man helped me with the paperwork and Elliott went over all the details regarding the vehicle and took his time explaining everything about the vehicle to me. So what had started out as a really bad day, ended up being a wonderful day with a new vehicle thanks to the staff at Northwest Honda. We have bought our last two vehicles here - a CRV and a 2010 Odyssey and now a 2011 odyssey...I will never purchase a vehicle anywhere else. They will have us as loyal customers for life. We used the internet to price this car. Every dealer we contacted was quick to give us a price, but Northwest was the only dealership which followed-up.
