Checking into a new car while waiting for Service While visiting the dealership with a friend who had a Honda service repair, we met a great salesman, Jonathan Waugh, who tried to get my friend to up While visiting the dealership with a friend who had a Honda service repair, we met a great salesman, Jonathan Waugh, who tried to get my friend to upgrade the car on our request. John was very knowledgeable, honest, and friendly. My friend's Honda needed a heater fan. While waiting, John helped my friend to find a car that was just right, but it took two days to find out that the car did not fit the present budget. John was great , but the process was too long, just to see if a car fit your budget range. I tried to get them to do the paperwork faster and to another car while waiting. Jonathan did help my friend to get the repair cost reduced because the car repair warranty was not in the Service Department computer. and my friend was charged and paid the full repair cost which was covered under warranty. Thank you Jonathan W. for solving the repair problem and for trying to help my friend to get another Northwest Honda car. Mike Thompson was great because he did the paper work to reduce the repair cost. Jonathan and Mike is why I would buy a Northwest Honda. More

Once his search resulted in no appointment that had been put in; he immediately took it upon himself to help me. He asked and listened to what I was looking for and he did his absolute best to get me in that very same vehicle. This was my first car purchasing from a dealer so he had made the process clear and simple. Wasted trip I called and spoke to sales manager, Rishad to see if Northwest would match a price on a new CR-V I was interested in. My wife and I had just purchase I called and spoke to sales manager, Rishad to see if Northwest would match a price on a new CR-V I was interested in. My wife and I had just purchased one two nights before from O'Donnell Honda and wanted a second, but they were out of the color I preferred. I called Northwest from work and clearly stated the price we paid that I hoped to match. I was assured price wouldn't get in the way of the sale (although it should have raised a flag when Rishad told me that the car I was interested in had wheel locks and splash guards worth $400 - really??) I drove from Johns Hopkins University where I work through rainy rush hour traffic to be given the typical song and dance that people associate with buying a new car. While Rishad seemed like a pleasant guy, he pulled a classic bait and switch assuming that if he could get me in the showroom they could work their sales magic. It didn't work. I've never walked out on a conversation at a dealership before until last night. If they weren't able to match the price, that's fine, just tell me so on the phone, but don't lie to me and waste my time. By the way, after contacting two additional dealerships I found one that happily met my price and even included an additional option free of charge to earn my business. I'm a happy owner of a new CR-V and I didn't buy it from Northwest! I gave two stars instead of one because I served myself a free coffee as I waited in the showroom. If you're in the Baltimore area save yourself a headache, skip Northwest and go to O'Donnell in Ellicott City or Ourisman in Bethesda their prices are great, they treated us well, and didn't insult us with theatrics.
