I sent an email with a questions about a specific car to this dealer’ Let me describe for you the best car purchasing experience of my adult life. I sent an email with a questions about a specific car to this dealer’s website. I received an emailed response with an actual answer to my question. Then, the next day, I received a follow-up phone call from Chris. During that phone call I told Chris that I would contact him when I was ready to talk more about buying a car. Well, you want to know what Chris did? He listened to me. He told me that his contact information was in the email he sent and that he was there to help. And I didn’t hear from him again until I emailed him with another question. Did he pick up the phone to interrupt my day with his answer? No! He responded to my emailed question with an emailed answer! It was a car sales miracle. I made an appointment to come see the car in 4-5 days, and I didn’t hear from him until the day before; he called just to confirm our appointment. Seriously, this guy is great. When we arrived at the dealer, Chris was finishing up with a customer and rather than have us wait, Kevin offered to help us and he was great, too! He wasn’t pushy, just welcoming and full of helpful about the car. Everyone there was very welcoming to my kids; my son even fell asleep, right in the middle of the showroom, watching college softball in the fancy recliners. The staff were just lovely all the way around. There was one little miscommunication, but even that was handled with grace and professionalism by the finance manager whose name, I am embarrassed to say, I can’t remember. Never for a minute did we feel like we were being “handled”. Never for a minute did it feel like these were “used car salesmen” from central casting. Did I mention that we live in St. Augustine Beach? We had to drive an hour and 45 minutes one way to get the Honda of Ocala (3 1/2 hours round trip), and we are so glad we did. The car buying experience at Honda of Ocala is definitely worth the drive. More
