I bought a new 2011 CR-V EX-L today from Honda of Ocala. (I think now is the best time to buy a new Honda.) Honda of Ocala had a huge stock of CR-Vs for sale, so I had my pick of color/interior I wanted. Ra (I think now is the best time to buy a new Honda.) Honda of Ocala had a huge stock of CR-Vs for sale, so I had my pick of color/interior I wanted. Ramy met me outside immediately and was friendly and happy to show me the Honda I was interested in. Because I live out of state, Ramy helped me through the whole insurance process making sure I was informed and OK once I got back home. After haggling a bit back and forth, they gave me a good deal on the vehicle. Free lunch was a plus too. It's too bad I live out of state because their waiting room looked like a place I would want to wait to have my car serviced. Everyone was definitely friendly and looked happy to be working there. Overall it was a very good buying experience. My only recommendation would be for the internet sales people to update and check vehicle listings their website, as not all the information was provided on each car listing when I was initially researching Hondas. More

I was looking for a small reliable car. My husband and I own a Honda minivan and are quite pleased with it. However, I personally wanted a smaller vehicle for my own use. We went to the Honda of Ocala dealership one Saturday - just expecting to look around and maybe get some pricing. As soon as we arrived we were promptly and cheerfully greeted by Dave Knight. He seemed very personable and came across as sincerely wanting to know what we were looking for in an ideal situation. Dave listened attentively and if he didn't know the answer to a question, he didn't hesitate to find someone who could get the answer for us. At that time, Dave was new to car sales...this was about 8 months ago. Yet, to our surprise Dave exhibited confidence, product knowledge and had already cultivated fine customer service skills. Needless to say, surprisingly that day I purchased a Honda Civic - with the assistance of Big Dave...we were his first sale. We routinely return to Honda of Ocala for maintenance servicing. Dave consistently comes over to say hello and connect on a personal level. Dave is a conscientious man who we find to be honest and good natured. These qualities are what make Dave stand out in the crowd. When we arrived Dave quickly introduced himself, answered our questions about the CR-V, and described the main differences between the different trims. Dave was very helpful and stayed back letting us look at the car without any interference. He never danced around any questions and always gave a straight answer. When it came time to test drive the car, he took the time to find the color we were interested in and went to the offsite lot to get it. It was nice to get to see the color option we were considering. We enjoyed the car and so when Dave asked if we were interested in discussing buying the car that day we said yes. Dave was great to negotiate with. We talked a little bit about the different trim options, and he never tried to push us into a more expensive car, instead he asked us what was most important to us and then broke down the decision by wether the price of the next trim option was worth the difference in price. After we decided on which trim option we wanted we talked about the final price. We went back and forth twice over the price of the car, each time taking no more than 4-5 minutes, including the time it took him to talk to his manager, before we agreed on a price. Signing the paperwork and going through financing was just as smooth and pressure-free. They definitely discussed some service options, but there was no heavy sales push going on. From arriving at the lot to leaving after signing the finance documents we took less than 2 hours. This was by far the easiest and most pleasant car buying experience I've ever had. I would strongly recommend Dave Knight and Honda of Ocala for a great, pleasant car buying experience. More
