My wife and I needed to replace our ageing Ford Taurus and had visited several dealerships in the Ocala area. We needed a whole lot of help in choosing the best option for us both from the perspective of and had visited several dealerships in the Ocala area. We needed a whole lot of help in choosing the best option for us both from the perspective of the right kind of vehicle to suit our needs and also whether to buy or lease, or go for pre-owned. Until we visited Honda in Ocala we still had not found the right option and to be honest were getting fed up with the blah-blah we were getting from the sales guys we spoke to, and even more so from the sales tactics that started with astronomically high lease rates, and then 2 hours later the sales manager would appear and say 'forget that we can offer you a far better deal' Most of these we just walked away from because you kind of get suspicious if you think that they were trying to con you into signing up for those kind of deals in the first place! Our experience with Joe could not have been more different. He started out listening to us about our needs, and we talked about our budget. He kind of guided us to the Civic and said 'I really want you to try this out - I know what you're asking for and I think this will absolutely suit your needs.' We spent a whole lot of time test driving the car, and also looked at the Accord which was our other option. Overall we spent 3 hours going over the options (bearing in mind we also made it plain that we would not make a decision then and there - which usually is a big kiss-off to the salesman), but nevertheless he stuck with us and we finally got to a point where we had a deal on the table that was in our ball park. Then of course the Manager has to intervene (car sales 101 - right??!!), but it was all positive and geared around our budget, so the guys had listened, and we left feeling that we could do a deal. Today we went back and signed up, and the service and attention to detail was exemplary. You get introduced to everybody, including the service personnel, financial people etc., and we got a whole lesson on how to drive our car and what all the buttons do etc etc... Our whole experience with this dealership so far has exceeded our expectations. We love our new car and cannot thank Joe and his team enough for helping us make the right choice! I had an absolutely great expierence with Honda of Ocala. I purchased an 05 Ford Freestyle, and this was my very first vehicle purchase from a dealership. I was very nervious and aprihensive, but both Brand I purchased an 05 Ford Freestyle, and this was my very first vehicle purchase from a dealership. I was very nervious and aprihensive, but both Brandon and Steve took care of me and put all of my worries to ease. I had innatially looked online at the inventory and then spoke with Brandon and Steve. When I got to the dealership Brandon had my car parked out front just waiting on me to fall in love with it. Brandon took time with me during my test drive to make sure that I was comforitable with the car and that I loved it as much as I thought I would. There were a couple of small things with my car that needed service and they got that taken care of very quickly. I have told everyone that I know what a great expierence I had at Honda of Ocala, and that Brandon Joiner is the guy to see. Thank you guys!!! I love my car!!! More
