I went there to look at the used car lot looking for 09-10 Accord and was met by an older Filipino gentlemen that showed me what vehicles they had that fit the description of what I was looking for. After finding a car I was happy with, I when inside to get some numbers with my mom, but was really not satisfied with where the amount of the car would be sold at. So we decided leave, as we exited the dealership the manager of the dealership told my mom that if we would give the car at the price it would be like give it for free and was being pushy, rude, and ignorant with some of the comments he had said. At this point it didn't matter what the said we weren't buying a car from them. He came off extremely rude, if you must go there try dealing with the gentlemen in the used car lot, who was a million times better. More
When asked for a quote to replace a part of a side mirror, Errol quoted me $275 for labor, saying it was a major repair. When I wrote a letter of complaint to both the service manager and owner of Robertson Honda, neither one bothered to respond. We went here to look at the Honda Odyssey, they had only ONE to sell, after test driving it we decided to talk numbers with Luis and Paul. After two and half hours, we finally all agreed on a price. We gave them all of our info and were ready to get a new car. Another hour went by and we had the rest of our family come to the dealership to see our new car, then Paul came out and said, sorry, we made a mistake, we were basing our numbers on a different car and can't make the deal. Being six months pregnant and having a toddler who wanted me home, we said around the two and a half hour mark that if they couldn't make us a deal to just let us know and we wouldn't waste anyones time, they said no no no, stay, we can do this... it is ridiculous that they had us sit and waste our whole day, when they only had ONE Honda Odyssey to sell and then after making a deal with us, saying that they didn't know what car they were talking about, and couldn't make the deal they promised us. I should have looked at the others warnings on this site before going here, but now that I have experienced working with them first hand, for anyone looking here, I would not recommend this dealership unless you just have time and energy to waste. More
DONT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS DEALER, THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING PLUS BEEN RUDE I took my car for regular maintenance, they left the empty bottles of oil and old filters, I asked for a quote for t THEY ARE DOING PLUS BEEN RUDE I took my car for regular maintenance, they left the empty bottles of oil and old filters, I asked for a quote for the horn to be replace ( I had the part) they quoted $163 , they left a note on my car my car needed the motor mount-took the car to two other places and it wasnt the motor mount- Robert the service manager dont care , Shan the service advisor is rude and confronted me when I asked him why the empty oil can were inside my car and why the note inside my car stated my HORN works when I know it doent work and I asked for a quote and Why I wasnt call if my motor mounts were broken, today I call Robert the service manager to teel him I took the car to two different dealers , and guess what he would not come to the phone I left him a message I know he wont call me back More
I had a really good experience at this dealer. I worked with Jun who was really nice and laid back, basically no pressure at all. He was really knowledgeable about the car I was interested in (Civic Hybrid with Jun who was really nice and laid back, basically no pressure at all. I wasn't getting financing, so I have no idea if that part of things is a pain here or not. Of course I had to sit through the spiel about the extended warranty, but there's no way around that. I came by to the dealership to check out the new Honda Insight. I have been looking for a hybrid vehicle and Toyotas Prius is just way to expensive. The new Insight seems nice so I called in and asked if they had any in stock. I spoke to a guy named Mario and he set me up with an appointment to see one of the managers. When I got there, Tanny, the manager greeted me with a smile and said that he knew why I was there. He told me that Mel, would be the one showing me the Insight and I went for my test drive. I really like the Insight and the way it drives. Its a lot less expensive than the Toyota Prius thats for sure!! Overall, I liked my experiance. I told Mel, that I was not ready to buy that day, just wanted to test drive. He was friendly and not at all pushy like some other places I have been. At the end I met Tanny once more and he offered to show me what he could do for me but I told him that I was not yet ready. Mel gave me his card and told me that once I was ready to give him a call. I totally did not feel any pressure to buy. Once, I'm ready, this is where I'll come to to buy my Insight. More
I had been going to Power Honda in Valencia for all of the services for my 2003 Odyssey. I went to Robertson because they quoted a lower price for the timing belt replacement along with tune up. After getting the work started I got a call that the belt tensioner needs to be replaced. So the initial savings from the timing belt were eaten up by the tensioner. So about 4 hours after I had dropped off my van I get a call that the work is done! Wow thats record time...I hope all the work was done correctly...It wasn't. The second day after getting my van back I hear a scraping noise coming from the wheel well. The mechanic had forgotten to tighten or put on all the screws and clips that hold the plastic/rubber engine bay shield. Probably the easiest of all the operations and it gets xxxxed up. I called back and they are going to inspect the bottom of the enginge bay for any damage and replace the damaged shield. Who's to say they won't admit to any damage that may have happened while I drove with this problem. Needless to say this is the last time I will go there for any type of service. The customer service reps are nice/freindly after that watch out. Power Honda may be 30 minute drive from the Valley but you save time and get better quality of WORK. STAY AWAY FROM ROBERTSON HONDA IN NORTH HOLLYWOOD!!! More
They claim to have the "Multi-Point" inspection (fluids, tire air, etc.) I've found twice that one day after servicing where the receipt had all of these items checked off, that my wiper fluid was (fluids, tire air, etc.) I've found twice that one day after servicing where the receipt had all of these items checked off, that my wiper fluid was empty, the tire air was low, etc. My feeling is that they do inferior work for over-inflated prices. I simply can't trust the quality of their work. More
Emailed Internet sales guy- alfonso, asking for civic lx in manual transmission, in either black or dark blue. he came back to me with a good quote, and also said he could get one, and saw three blue coupe in manual transmission, in either black or dark blue. he came back to me with a good quote, and also said he could get one, and saw three blue coupes, and three black sedans, so i told him i'll come in, and that i'm ready to buy. i get there, and he blows me off and gives me to someone else (Eric), who tries to sell me a fit, and I keep saying, no I already know what I want, I just want to make a deal and get the car, so I don't test drive (which i'd done before while researching), and we go back to make a deal. He comes back with a ridiculous quote and I stop him and give him my quote and let them know all about how I came up with it, and he goes back, and before committing on anything, apologizes that there are no cars in stock anywhere. So why did I come down? They never even said whether or not they would honor my offer, or the original quote or anything like that. They refused to say it, remaining very tightlipped, with condescending smirks on their faces. Later, they say there may be a car, and I go back, and there are all these people trying to talk to me, and finally some guy comes out and says, "why don't we just order one for you?' This is three weeks after I ask to have the car ordered, and 30 min. after Eric tells me I can't order a car, because it doesn't work that way. They were very nice, as Eric drove me to the metro station the first time around, and helped me return my rental car the second time around, but overall, I had told them exactly what I wanted, and they knew that, but they made me come down there anyway, and they really didn't have anything that I wanted at all. They were very secretive and I gave pricing a three because i don't really know. But I feel totally tricked by them, they wasted my time, and it was really very irritating. And alfonso out right lied to me about what was available. Still, no car after a month. More
