Outstanding Customer Service I recently purchased a 2018 Honda Accord from Honda of Newnan. This was one the best car purchasing experiences that I have ever had. The profession I recently purchased a 2018 Honda Accord from Honda of Newnan. This was one the best car purchasing experiences that I have ever had. The professionalism of the salesman, the sales manager, the finance manager and even the receptionist was nothing short of outstanding. There was a small scratch on the trunk lid that was promptly buffed out when I brought it to their attention. When I experienced difficulty in programming the Homelink, immediate assistance was given. In fact one of the salesman came to my house and corrected the problem. In my opinion Honda of Newnan is an outstanding dealership. I will absolutely recommend them to all of my friends. More

Went in for an airbag recall & was given a receipt that they completed an "inspection" at my request (that I did NOT request as it was never even mentioned to me). The inspection noted everything checked out except my brakes would need attention soon. A day later my car started having problems & the check engine light came on. When I took the car back, I was told nothing they did would have caused any problems but they would be happy to check it out. When they told me I needed a $780 repair and a Honda "upgrade" once the part was installed, I told them no and I wanted the car. They kept me waiting and finally brought the car up with another report on my car that had a long list of things that were wrong. The same things they supposedly check two days prior that were okay. I took the car to another shop and Newnan Honda had cleared the codes and the check engine light was no longer on. At that shop, they found that my oil was really low, yet couldn't find any leaks or anything else wrong. After an oil change my car has been running fine (as it was before) for several weeks now. My brakes do need attention soon which is probably the only thing they said or did that was true. Use this dealership's maintenance & repair department at your own risk. I will never go back! More
classic bait and switch Please stay away from this dealership. We had a terrible experience and their customer service is one of the worst I have encountered today. They don’ Please stay away from this dealership. We had a terrible experience and their customer service is one of the worst I have encountered today. They don’t have things in place, they can’t stand by the promises they make, there isn’t consistency on what they are looking for what they offer. Worst they treat you like crap and are unapologetic about it. Just in case if you happen to stop by brace yourself for worst customer experience. Below is my experience dealing with them. I was shopping around Honda dealerships as I was looking to trade in my 2016 Toyota Prius and get a 2018 Accord. I came across Uri (sales consultant) from this dealership. I had conversations with him over phone call/messages. I left with my family and drove 75 minutes to meet them in person, finalize the deal and get the new car. Things that we discussed upfront: 1. Toyota Prius trade in 2. A black exterior Honda Accord and ivory interior, they didn’t have it in stock but confirmed that it is with one of their sister dealerships and could get it in a day or two When we went in person, Uri was busy with a different deal and Kristina was helping us. After few minutes Uri stopped by and reassured us promises made over phone. We were waiting as our car was apprised to hear about numbers. Then Bob Wannamaker from sales team stopped by and here things started going really bad. 1. Bob said they don’t have interest in trade in of Toyota Prius as it is a commuter car and they don’t see people showing interest in those cars in that neighborhood and couldn’t give a great appraisal. This was very different from what we heard over phone conversations we had. Uri was excited and mentioned that the dealership is looking for used car trade ins and also added 99% of times they can match any other appraisal we got on our car. Don’t fall into this trap. If they wanted used cars I don’t get why Toyota Prius had that distinction. 2. Bob said they can’t get cars from sister dealerships and that they only sell whatever they have in stock and with them. We confirmed at least couple of times over phone about getting the car from sister dealership and Uri confirmed the same just 5 minutes before Bob stopped by. 3. This is the worst, general sales manager doesn’t have time to talk to us on this incident. Probably, they are all the same. This is a new dealership and I don’t think they will make great strides with this attitude and behavior. Throughout the conversation forget about being apologetic about the miscommunications. Instead he treated us unprofessionally, showing no interest in our business. He was asking questions like why did we have to travel so far when there are many honda dealerships in our area, why did you have to get appraisal and deal from 4 different dealerships. It felt like a police interrogating thief to catch a lie. Though he didn’t make any racist remarks he definitely sounded RACIST. I wish I could give 0 stars. Will never advice this dealership to anyone in my family or community. More
Predatory Practices and Lies I was lured in with the classic bait and switch tactic. I was sent two emails with quotes for a vehicle, and told that if I was to negotiate or make I was lured in with the classic bait and switch tactic. I was sent two emails with quotes for a vehicle, and told that if I was to negotiate or make another offer it had to be in person. Being over an hour away due to traffic, and rain, I was pushed to come in to take advantage of the "great deal". As soon as I got there, after two hours of fighting traffic, I was told immediately that the lower price vehicle did not exist and it was for a different model; while the higher quote was the vehicle I was interested in. They said they didn't know how it happened in their computer but they couldn't fix it after I asked them to. Dismayed after I told them on the phone that the initial quote was higher than I could pay, I thought okay I will hear them out as they told me I could negotiate with them in person. There was literally no negotiation. The finance manager lied to me and told me that they legally had to charge for the documentation fee, which is untrue and at $699 (ridiculous)!. He later said he had to make a profit as the "discount" they were offering was generous. I know people who work in various positions at Honda and have done my research, so I know their invoice price of the vehicle/true costs of accessories/taxes/fees/etc. The finance guy, James, did not like this and tried to lie about other fees they "had to charge", that other dealerships do not charge. I do not know if this dealership specifically targets women, but they definitely lied and tried to take advantage of me. Upon finding out that I am a recent graduate, James told me that in a few years I would be making big bucks with a promotion so it shouldn't be an issue. I left and walked away without a second thought. I know and everyone else should know that bait and switch tactics are illegal. I have contacted my attorney as I will not let them try to pull this on anyone else. Stay away from this dealership and their predatory practices. Look at other reviews, you will see that I am not the only one they did this to! A day or two after posting bad reviews online, I received a call from John Hicks, the GM, whom left a voicemail stating that they dropped the ball, apologized, and wanted to make things right. I let him know exactly what they had done, and he said he has only been the GM for 90 days with new staff and this is not the look they want to have. He stated that my reviews were "damaging" and if he could make it right, he would like to earn my business. I told him that he could try but it would have to be a good offer. The only thing he did was offer a $500 reduction. Knowing exactly what they were pulling after reviewing the quote, I called him to ask exactly what the non-tax fee was. He said that it was to cover the cost of registering my vehicle. I informed him that I knew exactly how much it cost to register the vehicle and that the taxes were calculated incorrectly . That is when he went on to say the prices were set by corporate, covered administration, etc. I told him that it was incorrect as I know my state taxes and filing fees, and he said that he would check on his computer, but they lost power just a few moments prior. Skeptical as it seemed rather convenient, I let him know that when it came back on he could get back to me. I ended up emailing him as I did not get any response with a counter offer. Then later on Sunday I received an email saying that the power was out until late the day before and he would look over my offer and get back to me the next morning. This never happened. I have since responded that I am rescinding my offer as this is a matter of principle. I changed my offer, which is still more than fair considering their bait and switch tactics; causing me to miss hours of work, my precious time, and put me in danger where there was a flash flood warning, and he has continued the cycle of deceit while wasting my time. I also stated I want an apology from everyone who was involved in misleading me and for him to address the use of such tactics in the dealership. Of course, he still has not responded. More
