Terrible Service Center My 2015 Honda Fit's accelerator failed on the highway and almost caused an accident. I brought my car into New Rochelle after reading the positive rev My 2015 Honda Fit's accelerator failed on the highway and almost caused an accident. I brought my car into New Rochelle after reading the positive reviews. I explained to service about the electrical problems prior to the incident. Then how the accelerator failed and I was scared to drive the vehicle. I was told that in-order for service to test the accelerator, I would have to pay $150 for the labor cost if they do not find anything wrong. That my warranty did not cover this test. (When in fact my car is fully covered by Honda Care for up to 3yrs/36,000 miles) Then I was told that cheap gas could cause the problem. I've had enough. I did not buy a Honda to deal with this insulting customer service. Next step will be calling Honda Corp directly. More
