Interaction with Mr. Ivan Chavez I stopped in today with my wife to get a new tire for my 2017 Accord. Mr. Chavez (who sold me the car) saw me and my wife in the service area, greeted I stopped in today with my wife to get a new tire for my 2017 Accord. Mr. Chavez (who sold me the car) saw me and my wife in the service area, greeted us and helped us with the service. He went out of his way to get everything moving smoothly and even showed me the new 2018 Accord and set up my Pandora on my car. Mr. Chavez is one extra special person. This place is dangerous. The employees do not care about consumer safety at all. They also lie about the type of oil they use. Do not trust your vehicle with Honda of New Rochelle Service Department. Customer satisfaction I bought Honda Civic hatchback. On my first trip I had a flat tire on 95. The damage on the tire is about 3 inches above the road level. The dealer I bought Honda Civic hatchback. On my first trip I had a flat tire on 95. The damage on the tire is about 3 inches above the road level. The dealer is claiming that it is a road issue. I disagree on that. The dealership did not do anything about it. I am leaving the dealer very unhappy and unsatisfied. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
Unjust Treatment by Honda of New Rochelle ?In late March 2017, I brought my car in for service in accordance with a notice I had received in the mail around the same time period, stating ?In late March 2017, I brought my car in for service in accordance with a notice I had received in the mail around the same time period, stating that there was an airbag recall. On April 16, 2017, I noticed that I could not open my car doors when using both my key and the master key on the driver’s door. A few weeks later my battery died. I once more brought my car in for service to determine what was killing the battery. At that juncture, I was told that I had to replace the battery. Two weeks later the battery died again. This time, I had to have a jump start in order to operate my vehicle. Realizing that there had to be an underlying issue, I brought the car back to Honda of New Rochelle again last week. During the check-in process, Sandi advised me that the recall on the driver’s door was fixed. I was rather startled at that point in time because I never knew about the door lock recall, nor was I aware that it had been fixed on my vehicle by Honda of New Rochelle. I immediately informed Sandi that "[I] was there for the airbag recall and prior to March, I had experienced no issues with the locks on my car door. She advised me "they will take a look, and if it is covered under the recall warranty, they would fix it." ?To my extreme dismay and utter surprise, after having my car at this dealer all day, with no follow-up phone calls, I was finally told that they did not in fact fix door locks in March, and that they only "inspected it." I am totally frustrated at this point. Prior to me bringing my car to Honda of New Rochelle in March, I had no issues with my car door locks! All the aforementioned issues did not arise until after the recall was done in March. Honda of New Rochelle is now denying the fact that they were negligent in the handling of my vehicle or that they caused the issue at hand. ?In attempting to resolve this issue, I received the run-around for two days. I called numerous times to follow up and was placed on hold each time. At each juncture, I was told that "Sandi is away from her desk." I have spoken to numerous other individuals during the course of those two days, leaving messages after messages. I even went as far as calling Honda of America. Based on what Honda of New Rochelle told them, they have denied my claim, only offering $300 for future services, when in fact, I was quoted almost $1000 to fix my doors. ?Honda of New Rochelle has disappointed me in such a way that I will never return for future services, or purchases. In addition to this, I will never recommend them to anyone.. I would rate Honda of New Rochelle half of a star for bad service and extremely poor customer service. When customers have trusted your institution for years and entrust their safety on the road to you, it is such displeasure and heart rending disappointment to be treated with such indignity as an object that has no value to your company. Honda of New Rochelle has left a very bitter taste in my mouth as a consumer and it is my hope that customers will hold them accountable for their negligence and lack of disregard shown to them when they experience issues beyond their capability to resolve.
