Honda of Milford Honda owner beware of this dealership Took my car in Saturday 8/27/22 for routine oil change after waiting several hours the dealer was about to close told me I cannot take the car becaus Took my car in Saturday 8/27/22 for routine oil change after waiting several hours the dealer was about to close told me I cannot take the car because after doing an routine oil change car did not have oil pressure car had to stay the weekend at the dealer because there was no technician to take a look at it on Saturday so car got picked up on Monday8/29/22 which dealer states that they had put a defect oil filter on it this is the reason why it did not have oil pressure by Monday night motor started knocking dealer Is saying that they are not responsible for the motor knocking The manager/service department manager are very rude And not willing to help staying they are responsible for any damage done to the engine of my car when they will know that by starting the car with no oil pressure there is no lubrication in any of the parts internal of the motor So people look at the reviews in the BBB Google reviews and the home page in Facebook page to know that this dealer is all about ripping people Damaging cars and not taking responsibility I would give him zero stars but it’s not letting me post it without giving them one star this Stephen j is a liar and going to put up excuse to say that They are not responsible my car never had an oil light on it has maintenance service light which means time for an oil change More
if you're considering on taking your vehicle to this dealership to have any services done, PLEASE RECONSIDER!! I brought my car in on 8/27/2022 for a regularly scheduled oil change. The car entered with dealership to have any services done, PLEASE RECONSIDER!! I brought my car in on 8/27/2022 for a regularly scheduled oil change. The car entered with no issues or lights on the dash other then the service light. After 2 HOURS of waiting to get the car back, I was informed by the service manager, JOE, that the car cannot leave the shop due to "no oil pressure". He had no explanation as to what the issue was, continuously stated that they're not at fault for the damages without even knowing what the issue is, then tried pinning the issue on me stating its the way i'm handling the car and was in a complete rush to send me out of the facility WITH NO REGARDS TO OFFERING A LOANER TO A CUSTOMER THAT WAS LEFT STRANDED WITHOUT A VEHICLE UNEXPECTEDLY . After leaving the car there for the weekend, Monday 8/29/22 , I receive a call from Joe who informs me that the car is working and that there could've been a possible issue with the oil filter. I then try to explain to him that I was not satisfied with the service I was provided on Saturday which he then responds with a "yup...". Later on that afternoon, I go to pick up my car. My keys were left with the girl at the front desk RATHER THAN THE SERVICE ADVISORS. Once I retrieved my keys, I asked to speak with Joe to discuss the work that was done to the car. When I ask him to come with me to overlook the work he responds with "im not going. you can look at the car YOURSELF". At this point, im upset so I ask to speak to the owner to which he responds with "Ill get him but he's not gonna care for your situation either". What kind of manager says that to a loyal customer?? After arguing back and forth with Joe, the owner, Stephen, was standing right by Joe and I just watching the argument without trying to de-escalate the situation. As im leaving, Joe states "Don't worry because your motor is going to blow soon anyways". Funny how he states that and after having the car for not even over 24 hours, the motor begins to knock. I then go in the next day to speak with Stephen, the owner, to discuss what happened to which he replies that he has no plans of assisting. The treatment I received from this dealership was completely uncalled for. They have no plans to fix the situation therefor I've filed a complaint with Corporate, I've also filed a complaint with the better business bureau and Im now in contact with a lawyer to resolve the situation. This company doesn't even deserve a single star. And if you don't believe that what i'm saying is true, take the time to read the horrible reviews written regarding both the owner and the service manager. There's plenty of them!. I will be sure to tell anyone who visits this facility to stay clear from this place at all cost !!! More
I brought my 2019 Honda Odyssey Elite with just 15,000 miles in for a simple B1 service that includes an oil change with filter plus tire rotation . I always inspect my car for damage prior to leaving the miles in for a simple B1 service that includes an oil change with filter plus tire rotation . I always inspect my car for damage prior to leaving the dealership this way I can notify the service writer. Well I noticed cracked paint and dents on my rocker cover/side skirts right at the jack points ,I’ve seen this damage before because I worked at a Bodyshop for 15 years and what happens is the lift arms that go under the car are thicker towards the rear and sometimes hit the rocker if not aligned properly and cause the weight of the vehicle to crush the rocker cover. So I go and tell the service guy Bob and he really didn’t show any concern so I showed the owner Steve and he tried saying it was from road debris and I said that it’s impossible for road debris to hit the same spots on both rocker cover plus I always detail my cars the day prior to see if I find any new scratches or dents that I haven’t noticed yet to make a note of all imperfections on my car before getting any service done to it. So basically Steve says to me I don’t have an answer for you multiple times. So I said your not going to do anything about this? He says again I don’t have an answer for you. So my $49,000 van gets damaged and Honda of Milford doesn’t care. All they see you as is a dollar sign they could care less about you or your car. Now I’m stuck with having to get them replaced at around $740 for the side skirts. I already contacted Honda Corporate and filed a complaint with this company. I’ve been getting my cars serviced there for over 8 years and this is how they treat loyal customers. More
I notice that my Civic had a bit of oil in the top back of the engine, near that air intake manifold. Although I did not purchase my car from Honda of Milford, I took it in there because the car was still of the engine, near that air intake manifold. Although I did not purchase my car from Honda of Milford, I took it in there because the car was still under warranty and less than 3 years old and there should never be oil outside accumulating on the engine. Long story short, once they got the part, I took my car in and it was serviced. Something told me to check it once I got my car back and noticed that the screws for the engine cover were loose. Some of the hose that connects from the air intake to the engine was not located back into their correct clamps but most importantly, a metal clamp from one of the engine hose was apparently broken. I get that this happens but instead of replacing it with the same part, the mechanic simply used a plastic zip-tie. Not acceptable to me and what's worse, no one told me about this when I picked up my car, and only knew because I looked under the engine. Their communication was great but their service is most questionable. I wonder if they do this kind of work when it's under warranty and not paid out of pocket? I know how these car reviews work. Sales or service "encourage" people to post a positive review as part of a sale to bolster their review score but I also have to ensure that people are aware of some of the practice that goes on the places and gets informed because taking in their cars for service. Went in for a factory recall and they replaced both of my axles while I waited. The dealership had excellent Covid-19 protocols and I was in and out of there in an hour and a half. The Service Junior Apprent axles while I waited. The dealership had excellent Covid-19 protocols and I was in and out of there in an hour and a half. The Service Junior Apprentice Craig even arranged to have my daughter picked up down the street so I could complete the recall in just one visit! I bought my last four vehicles there and wouldn't think of going anywhere else! More
Went in for factory recall. Mike constantly updated me via text as to the status. Also learned during their inspection that my brakes were very worn (which I was happy to learn!), so they resurfaced the via text as to the status.
