Many visits in 3 weeks This last visit was good. I am finally getting settled with this dealer and service dept. Initially was frustrated with the service from the sales dep This last visit was good. I am finally getting settled with this dealer and service dept. Initially was frustrated with the service from the sales dept but the sales manager Amit, was supportive. The return visits were to correct installed items and repair items. This is my first Honda. I have heard good things about Honda and I hope everything lives up to its reviews. The service dept. Rep Jennifer has been very kind and understanding and she makes returning to the service dept much easier. Also the gentleman that greets you to sign the car in is very nice too. More

However, the custome The end result of my visit to Advantage Honda was fine; I received my oil change, NYS inspection and a recall was taken care of. However, the customer service rep with whom I dealt never gave me his name. Therefore, when I called later on to find out the status of the job it was difficult to find my records. The first time I phoned the receptionist put me on hold (no music, just silence) for 5 minutes so I hung up figuring I had been forgotten about. I called back and again was on hold for 5 minutes. I would have liked a quicker response to my inquiry or at least someone every now and then checking in with me during the hold time. When I went to pick my car up, I paid (no problem) and the girl said I should get my car from the valet. She called in my tkt number on a walkie talkie and never told me to give the valet the tkt what was stapled to my receipt and service papers and now in my bag. I went outside and waited until someone noticed me and asked what I was waiting for. I had to dig in my bag for the valet ticket. I easily spotted my car on the lot however the key was not on the valet board, nor in the car nor on the tire, so it took a while to find my key, which, for some reason was with the mechanic. Again, the actual service on my car seems fine, it's just the small details of customer service organization and promptness that I was a bit dissatisfied with. More

The only issue I have is that I had an appt., needed an oil change, but still waited nearly 2 hours until the car was returned to me. Maybe the issues I asked about needed time to be checked, so that the time was needed, but it seemed a bit excessive to me. More
