had a sign and drive deal for a CRV Hybrid. I agreed to pay first month and DMV fees. I had to wait a few weeks for the car and when it arrived, they tried to get me to pay $2000 in taxes alt I agreed to pay first month and DMV fees. I had to wait a few weeks for the car and when it arrived, they tried to get me to pay $2000 in taxes although we agreed to roll them into the payment when we made the deal. They lack integrity. Absolutely horrible. They appraised my 2019 Honda Civic with 15,000 miles on at 12,000 when the car is worth 20,00-21,00. I was then told I had zero equity in my vehicl They appraised my 2019 Honda Civic with 15,000 miles on at 12,000 when the car is worth 20,00-21,00. I was then told I had zero equity in my vehicle and that I would need to put down 6,000 on a Honda CR-V for a 450/mo payment. This is my 3rd lease with them and this is how they treat me. I just brought my car in for service and realized my center console was completely broken afterwards…. What a complete nightmare. More
Misleading price advertised online. They have all their used car listed with the "price shown after $1995 down" which can only be found on the tiny fine print. And obviously they only tell you that when sitting down talking about prices (after test driving and any other stuff that wasted your time) More

I sent emails out to 5 Honda Long Island NY dealerships asking for a lease on a 2022 Accord with $6,000 in equity to be traded in on my old lease. I advised I wanted to pay zero down, just the DMV fees and asking for a lease on a 2022 Accord with $6,000 in equity to be traded in on my old lease. I advised I wanted to pay zero down, just the DMV fees and taxes only. I wanted quotes emailed back to me noting I was not coming to their dealership until I received a quote via e-mail. I also told them I would be reviewing their dealership and the way they treated me on internet on various automotive websites. They were warned. The first to respond with a quote was Empire Honda of Manhasset, NY. While I took the deal with them on a new Accord Sport I was not at all thrilled. They didn’t have any base model Accords in stock but the original quote for an Accord Sport e-mailed seemed fair. The salesman could not have been nicer and they accepted my trade equity in my current lease at $6000. But it went downhill from there. The sales manager Joe gave me the song and dance that my vehicle was not really worth $6,000 because he had overhead, prep fees etc…etc. If I sold the car myself I would be paying sales tax and fees. I know all of this and knew there was a lot of wiggle room for them to make a profit. I should have walked out right then especially when I was pressured to do the deal that day. I hate being pressured to make a deal, especially by a dealership manager. I found that disgusting. Then they tried to stick me with $995 bank fee. They didn’t read my e-mail carefully for my terms. I said no way to that fee and they rolled that fee into the capitalized cost of the car which was fine with me. I’m not paying up front fees on a zero down deal and either should you! Then they tried to stick me with the first payment at signing. This dealership does not know the meaning of a zero down deal and should learn how to read and accept the customers terms as stated in the original e-mail as I stated. I don’t pay the first month’s payment on a leased car for zero down. Either the dealer absorbs that fee, or they add it to the capitalized cost. I’m not paying up front fees on a zero down deal and either should you! Then they would not accept my marked up buyers order where I indicated that the dealership would absorb all turn in fees and wear and tear on the turned in vehicle. I asked for a copy of that document. I was told the next day by the sales man that the document my wife signed and surrendered to them was destroyed and now the file had no record of it. I don’t like that ! It’s ok because I took a photo. I don’t like being played by a car dealership. While I was happy with the price, it was a disgusting horrible experience. They might be the best of the worst, who knows but I found them disgusting. If they contact me to make things right, I’ll let you know. More
