I was apprehensive about walking into any car dealership. I'm young and female and didn't know the first thing about buying a car. I stopped at a different Honda dealership and my fears were magnified. My experience was everything I was afraid of, unfriendly salesman trying to pressure me to buy a car on the spot. A friend had recommended that I go to Honda Manhasset. "Go in and ask for Frank, you'll be fine." It was 7:00 on a Wednesday night and I needed a new car like yesterday and at this point I had nothing left to lose because my car buying experience couldn't get worse. After 2 minutes of sitting down and speaking with Frank all my fears were exacerbated and I knew I would be ok. He asked about me and what I was looking for and then went over in detail the safety features of the car I was interested in. He then took me for a test drive. There was no high pressure sales tactics; it felt like a car ride with an old friend. We got back to the dealership and discussed options. I was unsure of which model I wanted and how many years I wanted to finance over. Frank priced out both models over different options and worked with me and gave me a great price that fit my budget. He went out of his way for me and really made me feel like a VIP from the minute I walked in to the minute I drove my car off the lot 2 days later. I know that if anyone tells me they are in the market for a Honda I will be sending them to Honda Manahsset as well. All of this and it doesn't even speak to how wonderful the rest of the staff were. Gina handled my financing and truly took care of me as well. She was friendly and really worked to get everything done for me in only a day. The rest of the staff there were so friendly and helpful as well. From David another salesman who just struck up conversation with my while I was waiting on pricing and then picking up the car to the person who showed me all the features of my new Civic and synced my bluetooth to the Mike the service manager who told me to come back and see him if I had any problems, the car buying experience was truly a pleasure! This is our 3rd vehicle from PSHonda-Manhasset. So far this has been our best vehicle purchasing experience because of the sales person, Daryl Beattie. After pulling all of my hair out at numerous dealerships, it was so refreshing to deal with people who did not play games with me and just did the right thing in selling their cars and appraising my trade in it was so refreshing to deal with people who did not play games with me and just did the right thing in selling their cars and appraising my trade in. Eric Wong is a great guy to deal with. I would highly recommend him to friends and to family. Gina Plakas dealt with the paperwork and the aftermarket items such as warranties and alarms and was very fair and added extras to my packages. Be prepared to get a great deal at the end of the month but be prepared to wait a while for delivery of your car because they sell soooo many cars that there will be many, many people picking up their cars at the same time. After some research on Edmunds, KBB and visits to multiple dealerships to gather quotes, my wife and I pay a visit to Honda Manhasset one evening. We purchased 2 vehicles at this dealership 12 years multiple dealerships to gather quotes, my wife and I pay a visit to Honda Manhasset one evening. We purchased 2 vehicles at this dealership 12 years ago. Eric Wong greeted us and sat us down to discuss the car we were looking for. He took notes on the type of car and the options we wanted to add. We told him we wanted a package deal. After a brief discussion with his manager, he came back with an offer that was considerably lower than the other Honda dealership we visited. With a little “haggling”, we came to a price that we thought was reasonable. We met with Gina Plakas the following evening to discuss our financing terms. She had all our paperworks prepared and had us out very quickly. Within 24 hours, we drove away in our new Honda Pilot. Overall, we had a very good experience. More

Under the astute leadership of Chris Thierrin, and his Service Manager Mike LaMarsh, it is more than apparent that the dealership employees are on the same page as far as providing the highest levels of customer satisfaction. On the few occasions where intervention has been necessary the Management’s corrective actions have been prompt. This submission is to relate my most recent Honda purchase experience. The toughest decision was to determine the model/year of the used vehicle the family wanted for my daughter. Helps doing the homework, since most used car inventory info is available on the dealership’s web site. Once we decided on a 2010 Tango Red Pearl CRV, the rest of the Sales process was painless and actually enjoyable since Chris and Mike stopped by to ensure that everything was okay. The price was acceptable to us based on the great condition of the vehicle and the detailed Honda Certification process explanation. My college attending daughter was all excited when she received the keys to her first car - promised to not text and drive. My son is next, and the choice of of vehicle and dealership will be a no brainer! More
