I had a great experience at Honda Manhasset. The lady at the front desk was very friendly, and directed me to Bonnie. She allowed me time to make my decision, and I never felt pressured at any point of this experience, which was refreshing. I also spoke with the sales manager, and he was also very friendly and helpful in the purchase of my car. After I picked the car I wanted, I worked with Gina who is the business manager. She was very friendly (as you can see I use that word a lot, it was a common theme with everyone who worked there), and worked with me on getting my credit approved and with getting all the paperwork put together. Even though my credit was light, she worked with me, and still got me the price that fit into my budget, which was greatly appreciated. I felt both Bonnie and Gina went the extra mile for me, and made what I thought would be a painful process into a very easy and enjoyable experience. After the car was ready, one of the guys who worked in the service department, sat down in the car with me and explained all the features of the car, and even setup the bluetooth for my phone, for me. He was very friendly, and knowledgable about the car as well. I have been to several dealerships throughout the years, all are pretty much the same. All are pushy and tries to shove paperwork down your throat to get the sale. He took our concerns and made them his. Didn't push us and asked us when are we looking to buy, and didn't ask us again. Not only did he not pressure us when we were there in the show room, he didn't call us and harass us by telephone. We made a date when we were ready and showed up a couple days prior to the agreed date. He worked with us to get the most out of our dollar (which people may say "it is his job"), but I have to say, I beg to differ, not only did he respect us as individuals, he did it with class. A real stand up guy. I have boasted on how well he did his job on making my fiance and I feel like family, and I have told my friends and family if they are looking for an affordable car, suv or minivan, go see Brian. We were greeted quickly by Corey who is a caring and no-nonsense salesman who negotitated a great price for us and then introduced us to Ms. Plakas the Finance Manager who worked with the banks and got us a great low rate. While most dealerships try to confuse you with numbers and options, Miss Gina instead laid out all our options in front of us and reviewed all our numbers with or without the warranties. After a great consultation and careful consideration, my father and I chose Honda care warranty along with Dent/Ding, Tire and Wheel Protection, Security Coding, Nitrogenfill, and Simonize Glasscoat which included complimentary car washes for one year. I have already referred many of my friends to go see Miss Gina because this has truly been the most pleasurable car buying experience ever!! I love my new Honda and I used to be afraid of Finance Managers but after meeting Miss Gina I am no longer afraid.
