Good Service Center but Finance is bad. I don't like the sales folks but the service center is quite good. Recall Repair?!?!? So I received a letter from Honda about a month ago regarding a new recall on "propellant wafers" and some new problem with the passenger side air-ba So I received a letter from Honda about a month ago regarding a new recall on "propellant wafers" and some new problem with the passenger side air-bags in my Honda Element. I took my Element in for some work shortly after I received this letter and when it was finished they explained at that time that they didn't have the parts in yet to take care of the recall repairs needed, but I was told that i could come in the following week, without an appointment, to get it taken care of. Two weeks later I made another appointment to get the repairs done for this recall and the night before my appointment I received a call saying that they ran out of parts to make the repairs for the recall, but again, I should be able to bring my car in the following week (this week) without an appointment to get the repairs taken care of. So today i called Honda of Lisle AGAIN to make an appointment to get this repair taken care of and this time I was told that - not only do they not have the parts in - but they haven't even been given a part number yet so they can order the part!?!?!?! All of this for a recall they told us about a month ago?!?!?!? Sounds to me like the people at Honda of Lisle are either lying to me or they just don't know what's going on!!! More

Every time I bring my car in for an oil change I am told something else needing fixing. Windshield wipers need replacing, time for a new battery, breaks are getting worn, etc. It wasn’t until Jun 2016 that I realized how bad they were ripping me off. I brought it in for a standard 6 month maintenance check and when I picked it up, my AC was broken. I was told that it was just a coincidence that the compressor broke when I picked my car up. $1,000 later I got my car back. Looking online, not only was the charge for Honda parts way above average, so was labor. Service manager said it was just one of those things. So they replaced the cabin air filter and recharged the AC unit, but didn’t try it after? I'm never going back. More
Excellent salesperson - David Fidecki. I came in to get my oil changed, in my CR-V, and was just browsing through the new cars on the floor. Ripped off by Honda dealership of Lisle Our car had a airbag recall. We brought it to the dealership. They gave us the car back seven weeks later with a new airbag. However, the car alarm, which worked fine before we brought it in, was now malfunctioning. The alarm would go off randomly, sometimes at 3am! We brought the car back and they denied any responsibility. They also charged us for the evaluation and refused to give us our car back until we paid the evaluation fee. We will never go back there. Beware parts & labor costs!! They quoted over $400 w installation for a decklid spoiler on a '15 Accord Touring, $310 for just the part. I got it installed at Valley Honda in Aurora for $275 total - $204 for the part. Honda of Lisle offered to price match if I showed them the Valley Honda quote on paper. No thanks, how about YOU call them and find out yourself, don't make me work for it!! This is a sign that their P&L costs are wildly inflated, they are not customer service minded, and I'm not interested in working that hard to keep my money when I can go to a nicer, newer, friendlier dealer with more amenities and cheaper costs. SEE, IT CAN BE DONE!! Bye bye Honda of Lisle. Glad that so many people have had a good experience with you, but I bet they're not doing their homework and cross shopping like they should. More

When we called their attention to the damage, they proceeded to put us through a classic, month-long game of run around. Which included a host of downright contradictions and poor communications before they denied responsibility for the damage. Its also worth mentioning that my family and I have been bringing our vehicles to this location for over 15 years. Based on reviews we found on Yelp and Facebook, I guess they don't care about their reputation and maybe we've been dodging bullets all along. Nonetheless, we will be spreading the word with our families, friends and colleagues. Anyway, very unethical car dealership!!! Be very wary!! Message me for dates, pictures and names of employees involved with this incident. We documented everything. More

The person in the Parts department that I spoke to several times is not only incompetent at performing his job but communicated with me in an accusatory/unapologetic tone that suggested that I was responsible for all of the mishaps that took place. I believe that my experience showcases a lack of communication between the parts department and the service department, in addition to a lack of respect for customers. The customer service that I received was closer to the service expected from a visit to the DMV, far from the "truly exceptions service' that Honda of Lisle prides itself on. I was truly disappointed with my experience. I believe that my experience at Honda of Lisle merits feedback. I want to start by giving you a summary of my experience I had at Honda of Lisle. On June 8th I came into your dealership to order a passenger-side mirror. I was told by the parts department that my part will be in the next day, that I should drop off my car in the morning and your complementary shuttle would take me to work. I come in the morning, talk to the parts department and the service department, drop off my car, and take the shuttle to my office in Oakbrook. As I arrive to my office, I receive a call from the service desk telling me that the part had not come in and that I should have waited until I received a phone call from the parts department to tell me that my part should have came in. I then take the shuttle back to the dealership, pick up my car, and drive to my office. I proceed to wait patiently for two weeks and do not receive any phone call from the parts or service department. I call the parts department June 19th and am informed that the part came in the previous week and that I should have brought in my car for service. On Monday, June 22nd I bring in my car in the afternoon, schedule a service appointment, promised completion by 5pm and am shuttled to my office in OBT. I receive ANOTHER phone call later that after noon while I am at work informing me that the Parts department ordered the wrong side mirror and that I should come pick my car up and come back the next day. I come back the next afternoon and drop off my car, pick it up (fixed) later that afternoon and pay full price, $80 for service and $200 for the part. I walked into the dealership a total of SIX TIMES, waited 22 days for a side mirror, and was bounced around like I was in an airport in the middle of a snow storm. The staff lacked humility, competence, and communication skills. (However, at the tail end of my journey there was a customer service member named Arthur that was very kind and respectful.) I tried to contact the manager several times to provide feedback from my situation but was never able to catch him. Unfortunately, this was my first experience with Honda of Lisle and my first bad experience with Honda. I feel like I must share my opinion of your dealership accordingly to let people make more informed decisions on their choice of what dealership to go to. More
