My wife was looking for a civic and we had bought from Honda of Lisle before.I wanted to try the internet sales department and dealt with Tim Render who was assisted by Jennifer Holish.The price was amazi Honda of Lisle before.I wanted to try the internet sales department and dealt with Tim Render who was assisted by Jennifer Holish.The price was amazing and we went in to purchase the car.Honda of Lisle was more than fair with our trade in and my wife bought a Civic EXL.I was amazed with how easy it was to work with the internet unit and how quickly we were able to close the deal.I was also impressed with the business manager Vic Vibhakar and the professional way he completed our transaction.I knew Honda of Lisle was a good organization to deal with because of our past purchases but was totally blown away by their internet unit. Having shopped two other Honda dealerships..our last stop was Honda of Lisle. I went in Friday morning with the sole purpose of getting a trade-in offer for my car and check out a new Honda Odyssey that I h was Honda of Lisle. I went in Friday morning with the sole purpose of getting a trade-in offer for my car and check out a new Honda Odyssey that I had received an internet quote for. Bob Gross was very kind and took me out for a test drive while the service department looked over my trade-in. After receiving a decent offer on my trade-in, I was ready to go home to talk over with my husband. A bit of trying not to get me to walk out the door without a committment occurred..but nothing crazy. Bob called twice during the day as I told him we were to make a purchase that evening to try to firm up sale. During the day we decided that the offers from all three dealers were pretty close..but I liked the way I was treated at Honda of Lisle the best. Plus they gave us the closest, most decent value up front on the trade..which had taken hard negotiating at the other dealers. So we went in..haggled a bit for a deal we were more comfortable with, and an hour or two hours later..drove home in my luxurious Odyssey! Pretty painless as far as car purchasing goes. Bob Gross was very easy to work with. Highly recommend. More
Everyone I encountered at Honda of Lisle were very hospitable. Bob took time to answer my questions in regards to options and accessories on the Odeyssey and Pilot. Me and my wife went in on a Monday, 15 mins in the dealership...no one offered assistance so we left. We came back in the next day, and a salesman finally sat down with us. We came in to purchase a Ci dealership...no one offered assistance so we left. We came back in the next day, and a salesman finally sat down with us. We came in to purchase a Civic EX but they didn't have any in stock. So the salesman offered a new 08 Civic SI. Right away he started talking numbers...Never even offered us a test drive or to see the car. When my wife asked to look at it, he said that it looks like a Civic Ex. I offered him a price and he said no dealer would give it to us for that price. Needless to say we walked out. But before we did, he told me to give him a call when we got our numbers straight. The weekend came and he left a couple of voicemail on my wife's phone saying that he will give the car to us for $50 over invoice. We never called him back(which is what we offered him). Monday came, and I called the dealership, got a hold of Erik and explained to him my bad experience with the previous salesman. I told him that the credit is well over the requirements, I want $50 over invoice and I want no haggling. So he transfered me over to the Internet sales manager, Lee. I explained to him the same thing I did to Erik. He agreed with the offer. He said to just come in with a deposit to hold the car until we decide to come in and buy. Well a couple of minutes went by and he called me back. Apparently, Ali denied the offer!!! Lee wanted proof of the offer and he said he'll agree to it. So I hung up the phone with him and told him I'll call him back to see if my wife saved the voicemail(which she did)... I called him back and told him that I still had it, but he said to just come in, forget about the message and he'll honor the price. We went to the dealership, test drove the car, filled out the paperwork and waited for the finance manager. When we got in the finance office of Vic, we started to sign some paperwork. Then he came out with a high monthly, more than what i had calculated. I asked why it was so high and he explained to me that unless, I put a deposit down, I had to purchase Gap insurance or we don't get the car. I agreed with him since I didn't do any research on it.BTW...it was $700. Well, to make the long story short...I called American Honda Financing(where we got it financed through) and asked them about it. They said it wasn't required!!! So pretty much, Vic lied to us!!! I called Vic and he tried to defend his theory but caved in. I asked him if it was required or if it was up to the buyer...He finally admitted that Honda financing would like you for the buyer to get the Gap insurance, but it wasn't required. After giving him an ear full, he apologized and told us to come in and he'll re-write the contract. Needless to say, I would never, ever, do business with this company again, and I dont recommend them to anyone. More
I went here last week and bought my new car. It was a good experience specially talking to Mr Ahmet S. He was so nice and friendly unlike the other salesmen from other dealers. Have taken my car here twice. Once to remove a radio with jammed cd, and once to reinstall radio. Made an appt. for first visit. Waited in line for a HALF HOUR! Even though I had an appt. I was told that since it was a Monday holiday that I would have to wait 2 hours. Fine, didn't have time to argue. Upon my return, I had an appt. as well. Show up and the tech says that I would have to wait 3 hours simply because the people that install radios don't come in until the afternoon. Why schedule an appointment then!? I asked for the manager, and then suddenly they were able to reinstall. Shouldn't have had to deal with this, I'll never ever go back. More
I would have my car towed to another state before I would leave my car with them, even if it right in front of this dealer. I had a recall issue from the start of owning the car. The service department was rude and inconsiderate. They never called me back regarding the part and when I went I was given a msg to pick it up assuming it was fixed, it wasnt! When I was upset and tried to talk to someone, the sales person, manager and service manager were convienently not avaiable. When they pulled up my car, it was coated with dirt, splashed on and frozen, and told that their car wash was not working even though other cars were sparky clean. I have always purchased Hondas for their outstanding performance, but have learned how some dealers should be out of business for their customer service. More

The first two vehicles I purchased were from Robin (who is exceptional) however this time she was on a temporary leave and I dealt with Lee and Joe. They both were very good and I would recommend both. The whole process, negoiation to driving off the lot with the car, took 2 hours. That included them looking through there three lots for the vehicle. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a new Honda. More
