I wanted a 2011 Honda Accord Coupe, black on black, V6, no navigation. He came under the price of the other dealer. We went to get the car, and he made the experience so much better than I ever could have imagined. He is a great sales person and I would recommend him to everyone. He was also amazing when I lost a fight with the side of our garage (yes, with the new car). I called him crying (yeah...I know) and he calmed me down, told me to bring the poor abused car in and he would take care of everything. And he did. I had a loaner car, and my car was wisked away to the body shop (still totally embarrassed)within 30min. of our arrival to the dealership. (the body shop is wonderful too) More

My first trip in to discuss buying new went fairly well. Bob Gross was receptive and what not. I gave him my specs and it seemed to be an easy enough request. The problem came when I was waiting for any word on the car's progress and heard nothing for a month. Bob assured me that he would call or email me and I got neither. It took Frank the sales manager to contact me to tell me what was going on with the car. About a week after I talked with Frank, I got a call from Bob telling me that he was no longer with Honda and was now with an insurance company instead. Not only had I heard nothing for a month from him, he nor anyone else opted to tell me that he was moving out of the dealership. Not long after this I went to talk to Frank at the dealer and let him know the situation. He was apologetic and was able to get George Paulus- another sales consultant- to help. The process went smoothly after this and within a week or so I had my new Accord, albeit not with everything I wanted but it is very nice and I'm glad I got it. More
If Lee hadn't worked with me to get me into a new Civic in my price range, I wouldn't be able to say that I now have two Honda's, both from Honda Of Lisle, parked in my driveway! I would recommend this dealership. I had contacted other Honda dealers looking for an 2011 Insight - just an Insight, not an EX, not an LX, just an Insight. I had one dealership tell me they had one in stock only to get there and find out the did NOT have one. They tried to sell me one of the higher models - I didn't want to pay for options that I didn't want or need. The internet sales woman at that dealership claimed that the inventory was off - which blows me away to think that a dealership does not have an accurate inventory system! I know that the Insights are hard to come by because of the earthquake and tsunami, but be honest with me. The perception I walked away with from that dealership was bait and switch. Not Honda of Lisle. I contacted Honda of Lisle. Jennifer contacted me via e mail. I asked if she had the car I wanted. She did. I said, are you sure because I am ready to buy the car. She assured me that they did. When I got to Lisle, imagine my surprise to find out that they had THREE cars to choose from. Jennifer was very friendly and helpful. I also had a trade in. I really beat up my cars so I was pleasantly surprised when Honda of Lisle gave me almost the full amount I wanted on my trade in. They were fair, they were friendly and they were helpful. More
Classic bait and switch. Advertised price, stock number and VIN on cars.com. We went with the printout from cars.com and the salesman said he knew exactly which car we wanted and that it was on the floor. and VIN on cars.com. When we went to buy the car, the price had suddenly gone up $2000. Salesman said that mud flaps were added after market(so?). We went to leave and he got the sales manager. Sales manager said cars.com had made an error and he would not honor the price. More

I had never purchased a new car before, and was a little leery of the whole car buying process. But when I walked in the showroom and talked with the salesman, I felt comfortable and not pressured. Over the course of a few weeks, I would stop in to ask questions between a new and used vehicle, drive a new one versus an older model, and the salesman (Jack) never pressured me to pick one way or the other but flushed out both options for me to consider equally. Once I made my decision, settling on a price was easy, making the purchase was easy, and I walked away feeling like I had gotten great service, a good price, and that I could continue to rely on Honda of Lisle for all my new car's needs in the future. I was very pleased! More
