We found a car that we were interested in through Autotrader.com and had never been to the Lisle Honda store before (although we had looked at the same model at two other locations). We called and quickly and easily set up an appointment for us to come in later in the afternoon to look at the vehicle. We spoke with Darryl on the phone who greeted us and introduced us to Mike Harvey who ended up being our salesperson. Mike was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Beyond that, Mike did two things that helped ease us about the process: 1) at no time did he feel like a salesman. He wasn't "strong-arming" us into buying anything. He was fantastic at answering our questions and being there for anything we needed, but didn't go beyond that. That approach really made us feel comfortable, which I feel in the long run probably helped us settle on buying the car from Lisle. 2) He gave us time and opportunity to discuss our options without being constantly around. Other dealers/salesman we've been to were non-stop, "in your face". Mike even let us take all the time we wanted to look through the car while he was working on the appraisal of our trade in. We really appreciated that. Outside of Mike, everyone we came across seemed genuinely welcoming and friendly. Oh, and my wife loved the personal touches like the sign on the car and the bear. They really did a great job and definitely will be considered when I'm car shopping in the future. More
Sager met us at the dealership entrance. No waiting. Had our vehicle ready for its testdrive. No waiting. All paper work completed and out the door in under two hours. Very pleasant experience after coming off two weeks of another dealership's unsuccessful attempt to get us the right vehicle at the right price. Mr. Romman's follow-up to subsequent issues was prompt and pleasant. Looking forward to working with him to secure a second vehicle. More

We were greeted immediately upon arrival and Mike was very knowledgeable. He took us to the model we were looking for immediately and did not hover like most sales people we encountered. This is the my very first car and he did not talk down to me because I was a recent college grad. Vic really helped me understand the warranty contracts as well and I am glad I upgraded to 7 years. Even tho it was a buzy time at the dealer our purchase was handled quickly. We felt that the salesman (Sager)described all parts and explained many of the fine features of our new Odyssey. This was the easiest and most pleasant car purchase I have ever experienced. I am 71 so there have been a few. There were no distractions such as criticisms of the timing, condition of the trade in, how have ever experienced. I am 71 so there have been a few. Instead I felt I was dealing with a trusted attorney or accountant who was looking after my welfare. Mr. Gage collected the minimum information he needed to facilitate the purchase, was polite (even courtly) in his approach and supportive of my preferences. Clearly Honda of Lisle deserves its reputation as a 'straight shooter.' There were no lies or half truths or bogus wisdom. Instead Mr. Gage proffered a complete sales offer in which each element was spelled out precisely. It was fair and reasonable, and because of his professionalism, I decided not to bargain or contest it. Again that was a first for me. I had come to Honda of Lisle originally because ti was close to my place of work and not where I live (some 40 miles away), Even though I had not bought the car from them, their service was superior to the agency that had sold me my car. I decided to see if their reputation as a car seller was equally deserved. It was. I am now a believer and happy to recommend them More
