We were greeted immediately upon arrival and Mike was very knowledgeable. He took us to the model we were looking for immediately and did not hover like most sales people we encountered. This was the easiest and most pleasant car purchase I have ever experienced. I am 71 so there have been a few. There were no distractions such as criticisms of the timing, condition of the trade in, how have ever experienced. I am 71 so there have been a few. Instead I felt I was dealing with a trusted attorney or accountant who was looking after my welfare. Mr. Gage collected the minimum information he needed to facilitate the purchase, was polite (even courtly) in his approach and supportive of my preferences. Clearly Honda of Lisle deserves its reputation as a 'straight shooter.' There were no lies or half truths or bogus wisdom. Instead Mr. Gage proffered a complete sales offer in which each element was spelled out precisely. It was fair and reasonable, and because of his professionalism, I decided not to bargain or contest it. Again that was a first for me. I had come to Honda of Lisle originally because ti was close to my place of work and not where I live (some 40 miles away), Even though I had not bought the car from them, their service was superior to the agency that had sold me my car. Based on my research, I got idea for the price that I could possible expect from the dealer(s). I sent email to Honda of Lisle. A few easy emails back and forward, I got what I wanted. Here I can tell that my wife satisfied with the price. Of course, me too. 2. Satisfied with the sales representative: Debby Pierce. The decision that we made for purchasing the car in Lisle was not only for the price. We were luckily to have Debby Pierce as our sales representative. Debby was very knowledgeable and professional for what she was doing and extremely helpful and polite with us. She really gave us great impression for all. We had no pressure at all and learned a lot from her. She explained the car in detail and took us for a test drive. She made sure we understood the dealership was behind us all the way by taking us on a tour of this fabulous dealership. Since they had no the red color car in inventory in that time. She made sure that we could have one on the second day. Yes, we got our car on that day. My wife very satisfied with the car and the service from Debby Pierce. Of course, me too. After purchasing 9 Honda autos over a 20 year span, must say this latest purchase was one of the best experiences I have had. Our sales person, Robin Bresley, a 19 year veteran at this dealership, was very knowledgeable about all their products, was courteous, respectful, no outward pressure to buy, but was very convincing about Honda quality and lease advantages. Was a great listener, and picked the car for me, before I gave that particular Civic model a thought. She knew what I wanted before I did. I think they should have her train other dales people on how to handle people and how to handle a sale .... I will surely go back to Honda of Lisle for any future car purchases, and will always ask for Robin. Thanks Honda for another good deal on a great car - the 2013 Civic. More
