We got an online quote before we went to the dealer and everything went quite nice and easy. When we reached the dealership we were well received and worked with the salesman called Brian Murphy. Brian has a very good knowledge about the car and took us for a test drive. He explained all features in the car and we never felt he was marketing the car, rather it felt he is giving a good demo of the car and never put any pressure on us. We already saw a 2013 highlander and wanted to compare it with the Pilot. We were very much satisfied with the new Pilot especially with the extra space and the eight seats it has to offer over the highlander. The negotiation part went very well and Brian helped us to get some good discounts on accessories. The finance department also didn't put any pressure on us to take the extra warranty and stuffs like that, which I know most of the car dealers do. The car delivery was smooth Brian even helped us to setup our phones with the blue tooth and even transferring the car seat from the old car. Overall we are so happy with whole process and we highly recommend Brian Murphy if you go with this dealership. More

Upon arriving at the dealer I was greeted by several employees and then directed to Michael DalPino. Mike was extremely helpful and friendly during the entire process. He did a fantastic job of answering all of my questions and when I decided to purchase the car he made sure that I understood every part of the process along the way. He made the process very easy and didn't put any pressure on me as I was making my decision. He explained the features of the car and even after I purchased, he taught me the many features on the vehicle. I felt like everyone at the dealership was friendly and helpful, and never did I feel stressed or pressured. One of my biggest pet peeves is that oftentimes sales people will push you to "Buy now or it will be gone!" but I didn't feel any of that at this dealership. They were informative and seemed to care about what I needed as the customer. More
We've purchased 4 previous civics from this dealership - NEVER AGAIN! We've taken our cars in for all the routine maintenance for more than 20 years (we keep our cars a long time). Almost ALL dealership - NEVER AGAIN! We've taken our cars in for all the routine maintenance for more than 20 years (we keep our cars a long time). Almost ALL of the work was done by Honda of Lisle. We took our 2003 Civic in for an oil change and to troubleshoot an overheating issue on October 17. They changed the oil and told us they had to charge approx. $250 for diagnostic work on the overheating issue. My husband approved the work. Two hours later he was told the head was cracked & repairs would be in excess of $2,000. For a car with 142,000 miles, we thought it wasn't worth spending that much to do the repairs. So, we started talking to the sales staff about purchasing a new car. From home, I talked to Darrell and was quoted a price. Supposedly our past purchases and loyalty with having most all of the service work done at HOL was taken into consideration. As part of my due diligence I called Honda on Grand in Elmhurst and received a quote (identical make/model) for $1,000 less. My husband and I showed up at HOL at 6 pm to talk about the possible purchase of a new car. We were told to talk to Darrell and took a test drive with him. We were made to wait as one salesman talked to the service department on the trade-in value of our car already in the shop - a price was already quoted earlier in the day. We were passed from one guy to the next to the next. Again, we felt absolutely no consideration was given to us as not only loyal Honda owners, but as repeat customers to HOL. Prices were re-arranged, seemingly to confuse us and to make the other quote seem inaccurate (which it was not). The salesmen were not comparing prices on an apples to apples basis, and we repeatedly showed them the error of their ways. In the end, we were passed off to three different sales people -- all had to 'Talk to the Manager' - a tactic we really resented. We kept pointing out the absurdity of getting a lower price from a dealer we've never done business with. HOL sales staff kept insisting they were being just as fair - yet they would not budge on their pricing. Finally after THREE HOURS we were getting tired and wanted to go home. To get the pricing we wanted we HAD to finance the purchase, which we did not want to do - so ultimately, they gave us NOTHING. They would not let us clean out the old car while it was still light out -- so there we were at 9:30 at night, attempting to clean out the car we just sold the dealer, in the dark parking lot. I am sure they felt they had us over a barrel because this car needed repairs & we could not take it anywhere else for a second opinion. Consequently, I am sure we did not get as much for the car as a trade-in as we would have otherwise. We also had to pay $300 for the diagnostics & oil change on the car we just sold. Can't help think any other dealer with a repeat customer, would have some how made this expense go away. All in all we felt ripped-off, were forced to finance the car when we didn't want to and felt being loyal HOL customers - in the end -- MEANT NOTHING to this dealership. More
