Efficient and Low-Pressure Experience This was my first car purchase in over five years (and my first-ever new car purchase), and the folks at Honda of Lisle made the process pretty fast a This was my first car purchase in over five years (and my first-ever new car purchase), and the folks at Honda of Lisle made the process pretty fast and painless. Ryan, my sales rep, was very patient and helped me reach a decision without feeling pressured. Shawn made the loan and warranty paperwork quick and painless, and was great at explaining complex warranty options. I look forward to working with the dealership on my future maintenance. Throughout the entire buying process, I never felt like anyone was trying too hard to up-sell any vehicle, features, package, etc. to me -- I feel like the folks at Honda of Lisle were invested in helping me come to the decisions that were best for me, not just for their bottom line. I went in to the dealership having done some research on two possible cars I was interested in. I test drove both, asked tons of questions, and was out the door with plates, insurance, registration, and the whole nine yards in under four hours! I'd highly recommend this dealership. More
Mostly great Purchased a new Honda CRV and traded in an older vehicle. Process was rather easy and even slightly faster than we anticipated. We had come to test drive the car the previous week. The salesman, Ryan, was helpful in explaining the features and making sure we were set up before we left. He stayed later than sheduled to meet with us. All of the paperwork was signed quickly with Shawn. We feel as though we received a relatively fair price, but would’ve preferred to have paid slightly less. They would not come down the $500 we asked. The only thing I can say that left me feeling a little frustrated was that in all of the paper work, the mileage on the new car said 14 Miles - which is arounded the expected mileage for a brand new car. We were also told the car would have a full tank of gas. It wasn’t until we left the dealer and we’re halfway home that we realized that the car had 80 miles on it and only 2/3rds of a tank of gas. While not a huge deal, I feel as though we should have been told and they could have, at the very least, filled up the tank entirely for us - after we spent a lot of money at their dealership. I wish we had noticed before we left so we could have said something. So that was disappointing because I feel as though we should have been told the truth. And the paperwork should’ve been reflected with the appropriate information. It’s hard to say who is to blame for This oversight. So that has left me with a little bit of a disappointed feeling and annoyance. But besides that, we had a positive experience. More

Henrietta initially reached out to us via email indicating they were interested in a trade in. She didn't respond to my two replies, which garnered the low review. Eventually we ended up connected with Mary and things improved from there. She was very responsive and got us in timely. Bill was great and drove to another dealer to get the particular van we wanted. Our only complaint really was a weak handshake - it's an important impression! Shawn was great - made the final closing process quick and fun. He even remembered us from our last car! More

We wanted a good car, hence the reason why we were shopping for a Honda, and we had a certain price point in mind. We were looking for a durable, reliable, good quality car for the kids, but price was also very important to us. JP was very nice, helpful and worked with us to find just the right car. There were only one or two cars in the lot that met our price point. He also pointed out that leasing a car may be an option for us, something that we did not think of. We settled on the 2014 Honda Civic that JP referred us to. Honda also offered us more for our trade in than CarMax, (which really surprised JP) and that was also another big reason why we purchased from Honda of Lisle. We are happy with our purchase and with the service we received from JP and from Brad. Brad Mitchell was very helpful in explaining the financing details to us. The only problem with the sales process was the time we had to wait in the waiting area to go through the purchase process. We were there between 2 and 3 hours. We understand JP was working with another customer, which is not a problem. He is a personable salesman. We just thought something else could have been done for us by the dealership to move the sales process along for us, while JP was busy with the other customer, so we didn't spend so much time just waiting around.
