Salesman Thomas George needs training and it seems his coworkers are not interested in helping him unless he splits his commission with them. (I overheard these exact words). His accent is a little tough to understand, but he was kind and attentive. Giovanni helped him almost all day and did the majority of all paperwork for him. Giovanni was nice but also a little condescending at times. I realize he has to make money too. For the most part, Giovanni took care of us. Even though I had to make an extra trip back to lake city for my window sticker and welcome kit. He was responsive to my questions and my text message. I was a cash paying customer and was advised I would be charged $1000 extra if I paid cash. A hard hit was done on my credit and this could have been avoided if my sales representatives would have just met my out the door price to begin with. It was an extremely stressful day and I was at this dealership for a combined total of 6-7 hours. Tell me, to you that are reading this. Is this how you would want to spend your Saturday off work? Could this be done faster and more efficiently? It absolutely could be done. The sense of urgency was not there and it should be. Think of the customer. Always, first and foremost. Lastly, NO ONE took time with me to show me how to work or set up any electronics/technology information. They didn’t even offer to do so. Not practical, luckily I’m savvy with technology but other customers may not be. This should be shown with EVERY car purchase. More
