Terrible and unethical. Sold me car with bad tire, no old change, horn didn’t work and entire right side of the car was totaled. Should have not have been on the lot. My overall experience with Honda of Lake City was great. Stephen Oswald was my sales rep and he was phenomenal. I live in Boca Raton so he delivered the car to me directly and in perfect condition. For how Stephen Oswald was my sales rep and he was phenomenal. I live in Boca Raton so he delivered the car to me directly and in perfect condition. For how stressful and annoying a car leasing process can be, everyone involved helped make the process as smooth as possible without much hassle. I also love how transparent everyone was throughout the process. Highly recommend ! More

My wife and I were looking for a Ridgeline and Ted Hogan was able to find exactly what we were looking for. He provided great customer service as well as expertise about the car buying process. Well, I was going to give 2 stars, but then my follow up from my salesman was terrible, so it's down to one. First, let me say what was good. Two things: the price of the car (the deal they put together o from my salesman was terrible, so it's down to one. First, let me say what was good. Two things: the price of the car (the deal they put together over the phone) and the video that the salesman made was fantastic. The car was clean too. What was bad. I worked with the salesman AND finance manager ahead of time to be able to get in and get out. They of course wanted me to use their financing, I explained I already had an approval with my bank. He told me he would come in around that rate, well, they didn't. So, after sitting for 30 minutes or so, our salesman said the car didn't have its charging cable, an important aspect that he "forgot" to share with me even though we had been communicating all day. After that, a different "finance manager" came over to discuss. He was condescending and patronizing. I didn't react to him very well with his approach especially after sitting so long and had already been told, "Yeah everything is ready, you'll be out in no time." The "general Manager" named Nick came over and "took the sale away." He said, I don't like the way your talking to him so we are not going to do business with you. We're just not gonna sell you the car." Needless to say, he could've cared less about my experience and, knowing that I had driven from 200 miles away, that refusing to complete the transaction would really "stick it to me." Only after I acquiesced and apologized to the finance manager (I had no problem apologizing because I WAS talking to him rudely and had xxxx good reason to do so.) After explaining how long of a drive that we had in front of us, the closer gave us a HARD sell on gap insurance. After saying no 3 times, he didn't look happy and asked a fourth. Needless to say, it was one of my least favorite experiences at a car dealership and thats saying a lot because I HATE buying cars. I got an email from a different, "General Manager" asking for all 10s on my reviews. I responded to his email asking if first he couldn't help me get the charging cable. He never responded to me (feigned concern on his part?) Same from the salesman, he said, "Be sure to shoot me a text to let me know you got home safely." So I did and he didn't respond. I asked over and over if the charging cable could be shipped directly to my home. No response outside of, "I got the address." So, I was finally sent a confirmation of an order from amazon. Instead of buying the charger cable from my car manufacturer, they went and bought the cheapest one they could find and guess what? I still don't have it - a week later. (you need the charging cable to be able to fully utilize the benefits of the car.) So, my review of HONDA of LAKE city is poor. If you go there, know what you are getting into ahead of time, from my experience, they have little to no care for their customers. More
