When I brought my cr-v into the service department on 06FEB2026, due to alarms and warnings, I was told that a bolt had broken off and metal had got into the engine. I was not told how the bolt broke off 06FEB2026, due to alarms and warnings, I was told that a bolt had broken off and metal had got into the engine. I was not told how the bolt broke off or got there in the first place. I was told the warranty had just expired and I was given three choices. I had to pay $15,000 for a new engine, over $10,000 for a used engine, or purchase a used vehicle on the lot. I was only given one choice on a car, even though I asked to see others, I was told that they wouldn't really work for me and was given excuses. I was not a fan of the car that was pushed on me and I was still in shock over my cr-v. The car that I had to purchase in order to get to my jobs is not even a Honda and since getting it, the car makes clunking noises when turning, as well as the brake light warning keeps going off and on. I feel as though a lemon was pushed on me and I am not happy with the car at all. It is not worth the price they sold it to me, which several loan companies stated in writing when they declined the loan. I doubt that the car will even last for the 7 years I have for the loan. I believe I was taken advantage of and I am not happy with Honda of Kenosha. I kept asking for ways that I could purchase an engine for my cr-v and now looking back it almost seems like I was talked out of my car. I have two credit cards that have no balance on them and now I wish I would have been able to purchase an engine for my beloved cr-v. I highly doubt if I will ever return to Honda of Kenosha again.
