Needs training in communication Rodents wreaked havoc by chewing on wires in engine. I contacted insurance & this was covered. It took over 2 weeks for Broc, Honda dealership, to get Rodents wreaked havoc by chewing on wires in engine. I contacted insurance & this was covered. It took over 2 weeks for Broc, Honda dealership, to get the information to my insurance claim agent, even when a local claims agent came to the dealership to see the damage & write a check, Broc refused it. But they were in agreement to dollar amounts to fix. When I called he tells me there is a hold up with the insurance company. I called them again & was told a different story (which I believe) & then she called Broc again. Finally ok to order engine harnesses, was told the car would be ready "Monday or Tuesday." Finally got a call about 3:30, almost 4 pm that I could pick it up Tuesday. Car was towed to Honda dealership the evening of April 17th & I was finally able to pick it up May 3. Broc was easy to talk to, but I'm astonished how he (or could have been other staff) could not properly fax the estimate to the insurance representative or accept the check from insurance rep when approving necessary work. I do not understand what the hold up was with the Honda dealership. More
Taking care of business I bought my Odyssey at Honda in Jefferson City and have only had maintenance done at the dealership. This is going on 9 years of great service. The service managers have always been courteous and professional. Of those managers, Kent Hager has taken the time to understand my level of understanding of cars and communicated what's going on with my car. Last year the day before going on vacation a light came on in the car. I was very panicked, especially when the diagnostic wasn't good. Ken took care of the situation and made sure we had a vehicle for our trip. This is just one of the times Kent has helped me out with my car. Personal relationships is what makes Kent Hager a great person to work with at Honda. I know he will always take care of my car and make sure I know what's going on with it. I highly recommend working with Kent. More

Oil Consumption I brought my Crosstour in because the check engine light was on and upon further investigation at a local mechanic, it was caused by low oil levels wh I brought my Crosstour in because the check engine light was on and upon further investigation at a local mechanic, it was caused by low oil levels which had disabled my VCM, triggering the light. It was recommended that I take it to a Honda dealer to perform an oil consumption test. I told the Brian, the advisor, that I had already put 2 quarts in on Tuesday and the check engine light went off Friday. After waiting two hours, we were told that the sensors were weak and there was carbon build up since the car was consuming oil and recommend it be cleaned. We agreed to this, however, it was never confirmed where the oil went. I appreciate that the service department is open on Saturdays and offer loaner cars. Brian and Keith were very nice. More
