We just bought our first Honda in 15 years, a 2022 Odyssey, and we could not have had a better experience! Marcellus was SO helpful, and didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need. The finance manager, Charles was fantastic as well! My wife came in with her mom and our son to look at the Odyssey and as it approached dinner time, our five year old was getting hungry. Marcellus drove down the street to pick us up pizza, salads, and dessert while we finished up the deal! Hard to find better service than that! Everyone that we came in contact with, not just the salesperson and finance manager that we worked directly with, but several other employees that we interacted with, were all fantastic, welcoming, and helpful! I have to admit - this venue has held some not so pleasant memories for me. I was one last affected by the Honda of Lake Norman trade non-payoff scandal... then an extremely misleading leasing ar pleasant memories for me. I was one last affected by the Honda of Lake Norman trade non-payoff scandal... then an extremely misleading leasing arrangement with Priority Honda which led me next door to Mazda after a lengthy history of owning Hondas. I decided to trade my Mazda and went back to Mazda to do business. Unfortunately, they decided to low-ball a trade in value... which caused me, for the first time ever, to walk away from the table. Reluctantly, I drove back on to the Honda lot - which is now Hall Honda. I was met on the lot by Wallah Richardson - who, along with Demario in finance, made this the ABSOLUTE BEST car buying experience I've ever had. I was frustrated at first and was a bit reserved. Wallah listened to what I wanted and customized my experience from there. I seemed to have his full attention for the duration of this experience. He was personable, attentive and thorough. Not once did I ever feel he was pushing a sales agenda. After my purchase - Wallah has checked in and has followed up on a few other asks that I've had. His level of service and concern has been just as high after the sale as is was before. How often does that happen? All of the reservations that this lot holds for me - Wallah broke those down and turned this visit into the best car buying experience I've had. Too often we speak of the bad ones... but this is my chance to shout out the excellence in service this guy delivers. If you are "looking" or "buying" - ask for Wallah Richardson by name. With what he can control - you wont be disappointed. More
