I bought a new Honda Pilot earlier this year; and I was so satisfied with the service that me and my wife Sarah decided to go back to see our options, I bought a new Honda Pilot earlier this year; and I was so satisfied with the service that me and my wife Sarah decided to go back to see our options, after my 2001 Honda Civic gave its last trip. I was on a budget. I told them I was looking around to see what we could afford. I was looking at other brands to see what was convenient for us. Again, after looking around, I went back to the dealership and spoke to Raul and Ryan. They received me like alway, with a great smile and remembered our names. I am a VERY difficult client, but the guys at this dealership were very patient to my thousands of questions. This is a perfect example of what customer service and sales should be like. Do not buy from this dealer We purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Civic a week ago. Our sales person, Vinnie, appeared to be straight and to the point. Before we purchased this Cert We purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Civic a week ago. Our sales person, Vinnie, appeared to be straight and to the point. Before we purchased this Certified Pre-Owned Civic, we noticed a large scrape on the passenger front end bumper. I asked about it wondering if it happened in their lot. I had assumed that Certified Pre-Owned cars came pretty much scratch-free. I had experience with purchasing a Certified Pre-Owned Lexus from Ray Catena Lexus of Monmouth (btw... this Ray Catena dealer was amazing!) Vinnie replied that dents and scratchs on the metal are what is covered. Not the bumper. He offered to touch up with some paint. He'd have it taken care of. "Okay" we thought. We retrieved the car that night, it was dark, the car black, it was raining, and we hadn't thought to question the paint job. Next Morning we looked, what a disappointment! Reading through the paperwork they provided we found wording in the "Honda Certified Pre-Owned Checklist", stating a Certified Program Standard of "Scratches greater than 4 inches, dings/dents that cannot be covered with a dime and/or damage that penetrates to the metal must be repaired". " We tried multiple times over the course of this week to reach Vinny (emails and phone messages) and then a pre-owned sales manager (left phone message). NO RESPONSE! It's unbelievable that we cannot even get a return phone call. What seemed like a pleasant place to do business turns out to be just another car dealership with all that implies. We even contacted Honda of America only to be told that NY/NJ dealers are all franchises and have a horrible reputation for follow-up. No Kidding Really, it would have taken very little to make us happy. Shame on them More

I picked Hackettstown because of the no pressure sales experience. Rob Nylund was my salesman and made my experience not only pleasant but fun. He went the extra mile with me and I recommend him highly. I was put through so much pressure with the two other dealerships I went to that I chose not to buy from them even if the price was right. I enjoyed going through the service department and Hackettstown Honda and was able to ask questions about my 2003 Honda as well as the new Honda’s that are now out. With my new Honda I receive no charge oil changes, seasonal multi-point inspections, loaner cars and car washes for life. I got an excellent price and so it was a done deal. More

We found a Honda CR-V online at hackettstown Honda for a good price decent low miles. We took a 1 hour drive up. When we got there we met up with our car dealer Rob. He was very personable had some humor which is good because buying a car is stressful and serious. The car we found online wasn't what we expected BUT ! Rob Insisted that he would find us our "baby" ( perfect suv) lol. And after some time of looking online with him we found our vehicle we wanted. They worked with us finically with finding a low interest rate from the bank, gave us a decent price for our trade as well. It was a long day but we did leave happy and satisfied. We took the 1 hr drive back in our 2013 Honda CR-V feeling safe and accomplished. Thanks to rob ! More
