WOW - Awesome Experience! Really!! WOW, I wish every car dealership experience was this good. Let me start by saying I have been to many Honda dealerships, some in NJ and others in WOW, I wish every car dealership experience was this good. Let me start by saying I have been to many Honda dealerships, some in NJ and others in PA and VA. The Honda of Hackettstown dealership is heads and toes above any dealership Honda or otherwise! They are friendly, take the time to see what you needs are and really seem to care. I have now been to Hackettstown Honda two times and had a remarkable experience each time. From the Cashier (Christine), to the Service calls (Bill), to one of gentleman who assisted me with questions (Alex) to the manager (Tom), everyone is exceptional. If you are looking for a Honda look no farther than Hackettstown Honda, you will not be disappointed! Ok, that last sentence might have sounded like a commercial, but it is true:) More

horrible service experience multiple times I purchased a new Honda CRV from Hackettstown Honda in around April. I was getting quotes from different dealers and when the salesperson called me I I purchased a new Honda CRV from Hackettstown Honda in around April. I was getting quotes from different dealers and when the salesperson called me I explained that I lived over an hour away and unless they had a great deal it wasn't worth me traveling. Well they did give me a great deal but then backtracked when we went in there and tried to add more on to the quote. My husband and I decided we were just going to leave but then the sales manager came over and reluctantly said he would honor the deal but we'd better give a great review, we agreed. Part of their sales pitch was the free oil changes which I had said it was just to far for us to take advantage of but kept it in the back of my mind. Well it turned out after we got home we did not have this cover that was to go in the back of the vehicle. I called the dealership and spoke with Mike I think and he stated that all vehicles didn't come with one and that he would get back to me. Mike never did get back to me but I called back a month later and had determined that it did in fact come with the vehicle. I believe a gentlemen named Kyle told me that he wasn't sure why I didn't have one but he would get back to me. Kyle did not get back to me, but when I called back he said he did have one and that I could pick it up. I explained it may be a little while but maybe my husband could get it on the way home from work. Kyle said no big deal it was being held there for us and my husband would just have to sign for it. It just so happened that we were coming up on an oil change so I figured I would go get the cover and have my oil changed. When I tried to get an appointment I was told there were no appointments just to come in. The next day I got up early and drove over an hour and when I drove up I was greeted by a young man that stated it was a 2 1/2 hour wait. I explained to him I drove over and hour and could not wait 2 1/2 hours and drive home over an hour again. I just didn't have five hours to dedicate to an oil change! Then I just asked him for the cover for my trunk and he said they didn't have it with no explanation. I had to leave the dealership with no cover, no oil change, no car wash, and basically no customer service. They were very unapologetic as well. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone nor would I ever make another purchase there. More

Worth the drive I drove a few hours to visit this dealership because it had the car I wanted in the color that I wanted. It was a wonderful experience! Didn't love the sales approach, but the delivery was great Its been a long time since I was in the average car dealership.. Didn't love the pushiness, nor the fact that they advertise a car that they won't se Its been a long time since I was in the average car dealership.. Didn't love the pushiness, nor the fact that they advertise a car that they won't sell and lie on the phone and tell you that it would be about 30 days till the recall was done and the car could go. Then when you get there... they tell you it is more like 90 days till it might be ready to go... Then they bring on other cars. In the end, the salesman did come through and a car was purchased and the delivery was a good experience. They worked very hard to please. I think we got a good car. Loved the optional warranty... Hope it is as good as it sounds.. I was not thrilled to hear the manager wanted to thank us for our business....but, I did feel he was very sincere and meant what he said... It seems as though they do care and do try to please. They were very thoughtful and offered beverages ect. So, in the end, I have come out rather pleased with the experience. More
