ever since i stepped into the dealership, they have never been truthful to me. i negotiated the price over the e-mail and phone and they agreed. but they didn't have the car in stock so i'll need to put a been truthful to me. i negotiated the price over the e-mail and phone and they agreed. but they didn't have the car in stock so i'll need to put a deposit down for the car. i told them as long as they give me a written proof on the model of the car and the price we agreed then i'll put the deposit down. of course, when i got in the dealership, they refused to give me a proof and said it was against their policy! what kinda policy is that! they finally agreed only after i threaten to leave. then they didn't deliver the car on the date that they promised and was trying to sell me another model. after a week of phone tag and me requesting the deposit refund, then they finally deliver the car. don't ever go there! these people are full of lies! I ordered a part by phone and had the wrong credit card with me when I went to this dealership. That part was my fault. There was no excuse, however for the treatment I received in the parts department. with me when I went to this dealership. That part was my fault. There was no excuse, however for the treatment I received in the parts department. I was lectured on the credit card policy not once but FOUR TIMES! I admitted I made a mistake and asked if there was anything that I could do to pay for the part with cash, check, credit card that I did have with me, first born...and just cancel the transaction I made by phone. Instead of assistance, I got more lecture and for a moment there I thought the police would be called unless I produced the right credit card. Finally I got the sales person to agree to sell me the part. At this point, I was willing to pay twice (the part was a little over $7) just to not have to return to this awful place and be lectured by this muscle-bound The Rock wannabee. He disappeared behind the counter to retrieve the part that I ordered only to return to inform me that my part had "arrived damaged" and a new one would have to be ordered. I'll try to get my money back through the credit card company but if I don't, I'll consider it the price of a lesson learned. I will never return to College Park Honda under any circumstances. I didn't like the sales people there when I was shopping for a car in 2002. I should never have gone back. The service I receive where I bought my honda, O'Donnell Honda, still treats me as well as they did when I first walked in the showroom. I will drive the 14 extra miles for the great customer service and look forward to the day when College Park Honda comes under new, customer service-driven management. More
Amazing. I read the reviews, and they must still apply over one year later. I have called 10+ dealers to negotiate a price via e-mail. College Park was the only one where the saleman (don't have a name) over one year later. I have called 10+ dealers to negotiate a price via e-mail. College Park was the only one where the saleman (don't have a name) was rude, refused to give me info, and told me to contact them via the web site. I got a very bad vibe from this place and will not deal with them at all. And then I found this dealer rating site! More
Let me start out by saying that I live near Ken Dixon Honda in Waldorf. I shopped through the internet and got e-mail quotes because I did not want to be hassled every time I walked into a dealer. The lo Honda in Waldorf. I shopped through the internet and got e-mail quotes because I did not want to be hassled every time I walked into a dealer. The lowest price was from College Park Honda. The internet sales person (I forgot his name) sold me a 2004 Accord EX V6 with navigation for $300 below invoice in January of 2004. I was very pleased because before I walked into the dealer, I sent him an e-mail telling him exactly what car I wanted, the color, the options, etc. I did not want the protection package, pin striping, badging, or window etching on the car. I also did not want the financing guy to try and sell me crap because I told the internet salesman that I would walk out if the financing guy tried to sell me anything extra. Well he must have been pissed because he didn't say one word to me (hence the 4 stars in the frienlines section). I walked out a VERY satisfied customer, but make sure you e-mail several other dealer to get the lowest quote BEFORE you walk into any dealer! More
