THE WORST CAR DEALERSHIP IN MD I had the absolute worst customer experience of my entire life at Honda of Greenbelt. Prior to this experience I had been a loyal customer for 5+ years, and I can defin worst customer experience of my entire life at Honda of Greenbelt. Prior to this experience I had been a loyal customer for 5+ years, and I can definitively say this place has gone so far downhill, it has got to be the worst car dealership in Maryland. I am looking at all possible avenues to terminate my relationship with this dealership, and I can wholeheartedly say, “DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! YOU WILL REGRET IT!” Here's a brief rundown: • Service staff mistakenly charged me for over $500 and implied I was trying to steal from them while working to get a refund. • Sales staff skipped my appointment to buy a new car and sold it to another customer the night before my appointment. • Service staff failed to order accessories for my car numerous times, which required over 20 phone calls, 15 emails, 10 voicemails, and three trips to the dealership, which accounted for roughly 30 hours of my time over the course of two months. • The dealership was recently sold to a new auto group and switched all their systems, resulting in staff emails not working, direct staff phone lines not working, voicemail systems not working, and parts/service management systems not working. • After finally getting a service appointment scheduled, they didn’t have all the parts there and had to hold my car for nearly three days. When I paid, the final bill was far more than the listed price of the accessories and the service fee which they verbally quoted as “service will be $210.” What they apparently meant to say is that service costs $210 per hour. They gave me the “employee discount” which only covered the service cost, and ultimately costed me nearly $3,000 total without me ever receiving an actual price quote or agreeing to the service cost beforehand. All in all, I spent nearly $3,000, 30 hours of my time across two months, and received the worst customer service I’ve ever had anywhere from nearly 15 employees. After all of this, they said “the best we can do is apologize.” I’d honestly recommend taking your car to a McDonald’s to get it serviced before I came to this dealership, which for the record, employs some of the dumbest, least accountable humans I’ve ever interacted with in my entire life. Congratulations, Honda of Greenbelt! You’ve lost a loyal customer and made complete fools of yourselves in the process! I’m currently in the process of reporting these charges to my credit card company, contacting M1 Auto Group and Honda's corporate offices, filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and filing a small claim with the District Court of Maryland. Just bought my 1st vehicle from Greenbelt Honda. Very fair in pricing and not a lot of games like other dealers. Went to one dealer in VA that had low online price but had very inflated backend add ins. No games, gave me a quote up front, negotiated a little, and was done in less than a hour.
