Plesantly Surprised Wow! My first contact with this dealership was via the Internet. I was some what hasitant as my car buying experiences in Gainesville were not so gre Wow! I was some what hasitant as my car buying experiences in Gainesville were not so great infact, most of my car purchases were in other cities. That changed today! I went there thinking they are not going to be able to get me in a car due to the amount of money I owed on my old car. I was pleasantly surprised. Chris and his teamed worked their butts off trying to get me into w better car. Well, to my surprised they got me into a brand new car! That's right I drove off the car lot in a car that had only 5 miles. Honda of Gainesville changed my view on purchasing cars in Gainesville. Thank you Chris and Julio! More

Purchasing a new car with ease Matt Like became known to me in 2012 when I purchased my first Honda Pilot from Honda of Gainesville. Throughout my tenure of owing my 2010 Honda Pilo Matt Like became known to me in 2012 when I purchased my first Honda Pilot from Honda of Gainesville. Throughout my tenure of owing my 2010 Honda Pilot, Matt Like occasionally checked in with me to make sure the vehicle wasn't giving me any problems or if he could assist me in facilitating any service needs. Matt became a personal asset to my car buying experience. Naturally, while experiencing this type of customer care and earnest concern when I became interested in a new vehicle Matt Like and Honda was the first dealership I contacted. I texted Matt, and he explained he was given a promotion, he was over internet sells, but he and Ed Baker a salesman (I would soon get acquainted with) would do whatever they could to place me in the vehicle of my choice at the price I was looking to pay. It was a pleasure to work with Ed, he had that kind of ease that is rarely found in a salesman. His laid back, yet professional behavior was appreciated. Ed shared so much about my new vehicle verses my old vehicle, and I welcomed the comparison. Ed treated me as if he was selling a vehicle to a close family member, and that's a good feeling when making such a big investment. During the entire transaction I felt ease in my purchase, and respect from everyone I encountered at Honda of Gainesville. I never felt like the dealership was just trying to place me into some vehicle to get a sell. Each person I came in contact with, be it in person or they just handle my application, I felt like they worked to get me the best deal. I'm thankful for the General Manager whom was instrumental in closing my deal, Julio Perez, the Business Manager, who took the time to explain the financing every step of the way. Matt and Ed, a great team!!! did a phenomenal job of getting me just what I wanted at a price I could afford. I highly recommend Honda of Gainesville to anyone that's looking to get into a beautiful vehicle. Honda of Gainesville has knowledgeable staff, and beautiful vehicles that will not fail. More
Little disappointing We bought a new Honda CRV and had to take it in and leave it to get the seat material changed. Husband took the car in very early (1am) so he wouldn't be late for work and they gave him a loaner. They told him it would be ready at 6 pm. He went to pick it up and returned the loaner and they told him the place that did the seats was closed and they couldn't get his car. We live way out in the country completely opposite direction as the car place so my husband didn't get home until 8 pm. Needless to say I was not happy. I called Frank my sales guy and he said he would look into it and was not happy either but that he would meet us near our home and bring the car and take back the loaner which was a new Honda CRV since the loaner place was closed. Very nervous to drive a brand new car that isn't ours. Frank met us and said to say sorry they gave us a $25.00 MC gift card. After he left I realized the cargo tray was not their and my steering wheel cover from the old car was also gone. I was going to put it on after we got the car back. Frank said he would replace it and I called once to check and he said he couldn't find one like the one I had. So I offered to go to the car store that had one. I tried to call him yesterday and he wouldn't take the call and never returned my call so I guess that's the end of caring about something being stolen out of my car. On top of that the back seat is very hard to lock down since they did the work. All in all not very impressed with the time the work took, not knowing the hours of their seat place, wasting my husbands time, having something stolen out of my new car and on top of it the seat people left their trash in the car. The icing on the cake was my sales person apparently not caring anymore and making me have to seem petty about the steering wheel cover. More

I've never felt pressured to purchase additional items (warranties, coatings, etc.) from their finance folks (Luis Espana is awesome!) and their service department is also excellent. More
