Expwerience at Freehold Honda I had a problem with my car that necessitated a trip to the dealer. More car dealerships should be as competent as Honda of Freehold. More

Service I have been a car owner for over 45 years. I have never received such quality service as the one I received from Mr. Hernandez, the service manager. I have been a car owner for over 45 years. I have never received such quality service as the one I received from Mr. Hernandez, the service manager. He showed great concern and even stepped out of a meeting to address my concerns. He is wonderful and I am recommending everyone I know to him. You are lucky to have him as a service manager who clearly puts customer satisfaction at the top of his priority list. Get a second opinion when they recommend you for the service Brought my car for regular service, the dealership recommend me for changing the timing belt and fix the spool valve leaking. I told them I did my ti Brought my car for regular service, the dealership recommend me for changing the timing belt and fix the spool valve leaking. I told them I did my timing belt somewhere else before. The inspection report still said that I need to replace the timing belt. This really makes you think if they actually look at your car when they recommend anything. Then, they tell me the spool valve is leaking and if I dont fix it right away, it will make my alternator fail. This sounds so serious so I asked how much and it turns out $1300. So I turn it down since I never see any oil leaking on the ground before. Today, I got a second opinion. I do have a leak indeed; however, I was told that this is such a minor leak and the repair is not necessary. If I have to take care of it, the spool valve gasket is only $15 for the part. $15+ service vs. $1300!! Minor leak that is not necessary vs. immediately attention is needed!!! After these two recommendation, I personally ask myself should I even listen to their recommedation next time! In general, the customer service representative is very nice and friendly. However, I feel they are trained to sell the service like this! Especially those days that they are not busy and do not have much customers! More
