I have purchased many new cars in my lifetime and have never had such a pleasant experience. I have had other Hondas, but, this is the first time I purchased from Freehold Honda. Every person was extrem never had such a pleasant experience. I have had other Hondas, but, this is the first time I purchased from Freehold Honda. Every person was extremely helpful and pleasant. Our salesperson, Evelyn Freitag, was not only pleasant, she answered any questions we had and if she didn't know the answer, she found it for us. We were not put under high pressure as most dealers do. We went in with an idea of what we wanted to pay and they pleasantly worked with us. We needed some help with some of the high tech items in the Odyssey EXL with Navigation we purchased. The assistant service manager came out to help us and he too was very pleasant and made sure we understood everything before he left. What impressed us even more was the sales manager, Carlos Cruz, coming out to meet us and making sure our purchase had gone smoothly. He thanked us for our business and asked if we had any questions or concerns that he could help with. We told him no since Evelyn Freitag had taken care of everything. I will recommend this dealer to anyone I know who wants to purchase a new car. More
Back in 2011 I bought a 2008 Honda Accord from Honda of Freehold. They made the transaction easy and the sales people was great. This past weekend I went back to Honda of Freehold to get another car just b Freehold. They made the transaction easy and the sales people was great. This past weekend I went back to Honda of Freehold to get another car just because of the pleasant experience last time, and the quality of there CPO Honda's they have. I went into the dealer and was told some one would be with us in 15 minutes, after an hour Paul meet us. I showed him the car I wanted on my cell phone (a 2010 Honda Odyssey) and said I wanted that one. I told Paul that the car was advertised the day before for a lower price. He talked with some people and they said it was a mistake but they will honor the website price from the day before. We worked out a deal even with our screaming year old baby as well. Paul was even so kind to get my 7month pregnant wife a sandwich to help her along. He also helped me load stuff into the new car as well once it was ready. All and all he was great. My only issues was that the car buying from first enter to leave took about 6 hours that is why I gave the dealers a 4 in overall experience. More

I recommend this dealership. I actually drove quite a distance to shop here because all of the dealers near me weren't that friendly or interested in my budget. I worked with DJ was he was GREAT. He actu distance to shop here because all of the dealers near me weren't that friendly or interested in my budget. I worked with DJ was he was GREAT. He actually cared about my price range (unlike other dealerships I went to) and we were quickly able to come to an agreement on price (unlike the hours I had to spend at other places just to get them to even entertain the price I had in mind). DJ didn't treat my budget like it was too unreasonable. He just asked what my offer was and simply said, "Let me see what I can do." and he came pretty darn close to what I wanted. I felt bad because I showed up pretty late on a Friday night to shop, but he didn't complain or try to rush me at all. I had bad experiences in the past with other dealerships trying to rip me off and kept waiting for this one to, but they never did. DJ came through on every promise he made about the car. Everyone I worked with was friendly, pleasant and very interested in getting me the best deal (even on a loan). Additionally, Lisa, their DMV rep, was VERY helpful and great to work with in getting my license plates. Also, they had very fancy watermelon water when I went AND cinnamon buns, so, I guess I'll just leave it there. More
Both Chuck and Brad were excellent to work with. As someone who works in the business, they were clear with all terms and honest throughout the process with me. We came to an agreement on the price and someone who works in the business, they were clear with all terms and honest throughout the process with me. We came to an agreement on the price and took delivery of the vehicle the next day. I would highly recommend this dealership if you are in the market for a Honda. Thanks guys. More
I normally Hate dealership sales people. They are usually condescending to say the least. They usually make the hair on the back of my neck sand up. I try and enter a car dealership with a positive usually condescending to say the least. They usually make the hair on the back of my neck sand up. I try and enter a car dealership with a positive attitude, as I did with Honda of Freehold, where I found Evelyn Freitag, who is a breath of fresh air. Friendly, concerned and tried to find me exactly what I wanted. I was looking at something specific and still was not overly pleased with my choices until Evelyn showed me what I eventually bought. It was exactly what I wanted. It is really more than what I expected to get for the money I spent. I am so excited to own and drive this 2010 Honda Accord. While I read his name tag, which said Neil, I do not remember his full last name but the first three letters were Hut For a financial person, he was very friendly and helpful. Things that I knew nothing about, Neil explained them so I clearly understood them. Questions I had he answered without hesitating. I have bought three cars previously and the experiences were not worth mentioning. So with a glad heart I am so very pleased at how I was treated at Honda at Freehold. Thanks to Evelyn and Neil for a great experience. I love my car. More

Straight forward and no non-sense. Ryan was very knowledgeable and professional. After test driving the vehicle, we were done in negotiating the price for the new car in 5 minutes. I would not recommend Honda of Freehold to anyone. I went there on a Saturday this month with the intention of purchasing a Honda Fit. My sales person was Evelyn Freitag. Initially she was polite and was go there on a Saturday this month with the intention of purchasing a Honda Fit. My sales person was Evelyn Freitag. Initially she was polite and was good to talk to, but she was not very informative and lacked knowledge on the car. The first thing that disappointed me was their internet quote. I chose to go there first because they offered the lowest net quote. But on reaching there, the lady told me that the quote was a mistake and that the guy who had sent so, Bryan Lee, was new and hence the error. Anyway, after that she insisted that they were very competitive and gave me a new quote with much negotiation, which was fine and acceptable to me. She and her manager offered me a $500 rebate if I would make the deal that day. I went ahead with it which included trade in of my old car. I gave them an advance booking of $500, and the lady gave me a print of the purchase order, in which there was a mistake that I found out while coming out of their store. So immediately I went back and probably because the deal was already made, she showed a negligent attitude. Well yes, it was late and the Finance Manager had already left the office but that she could say in a better way. Instead she kept staring at her computer and after almost a minute she told me that the manager had left and if I could not “trust” her, she could do nothing! She could had nicely conveyed the same message. She said in a way as if she was disgusted because I didn’t trust her which absolutely made no sense! Anyway, on Monday, as agreed previously, when I rang them up to know about the financing options, they told me that they would call back, which never really happened. After making quite a few calls I got to talk to the Finance Manager, who informed me that Honda would not be able to help me with financing since I was on visa! So I said I would try and make my own arrangements and get back to them to which they said they were fine. I went ahead and arranged the same. Later when I called them up to say that everything was arranged, suddenly they told me that they would not be able to give me $500 off because I could not get finance from Honda, which was weird as they never told me anything like that before! I was a little upset with this dealing, when the sales woman told me that if I had “so many problems” I could go ahead and cancel the deal! I decided right then to drop off, because this was not the way a sales person is expected to deal with a customer! So I called her and mailed her to say to refund my advance and cancel the deal. Later she called me and asked if they would add back that $500 refund, whether I would go ahead to which I said “no”. This was totally unacceptable the way she dealt with me!!! She never returned calls, was rude from the moment the deal was made and lacked technical knowledge! This was the worst experience I have had with car dealers! Just for your information, on the very same day I purchased my Honda Fit from DCH Academy Honda and had a wonderful buying and after sales experience with them. They also got my financing from Honda with the lowest interest rate! More
