Buyer Beware 7/16/2018 I am just writing this review I bought the car in May 2018. I was hoping Freehold Honda would at least acknowledge me and do the right thing and call me. But, I guess they got the sale and forgot about me. First of all they sold be a car 2015 that was scratched on all three panels. They filled in the scratches with black paint. When I got my car wash the scratches surfaced. I call them within the week of buying the car. They looked at it and said it was over $900.00 of damage and was not going to pay. That was very dishonest. Also when I bought the car once they made the sale. They did not want to have anything else to do with me. I asked the salesman if he could show me how to operate different functions he said don't come on a Saturday because he usually has a lot of customers. (was I a customer to?????) I spoke to the Manger and he was of no help. The only decent person there was the Service Manager . He acted like he had some sympathy. I think this dealership is strictly about sales and not customer satisfaction. I am regretful that I dealt with this dealership. Beware of their honesty. More

Non-Trustworthy people Forwarded an e-mail with a quote from a nearby dealership. Mr. Vance had previously sent me a text in writing saying he would beat the number by $400 Forwarded an e-mail with a quote from a nearby dealership. Mr. Vance had previously sent me a text in writing saying he would beat the number by $400 if received in writing. When asked for the total price, his numbers indicated extra charges that I never seen elsewhere or in any other dealership. I asked for the stock or vin number of the vehicle that he was referring to and there was no answer. I sent the quote from the other dealership to his management as well. Unfortunately, this moment onward, I could not trust these guys and moved on with another dealer in the area to purchase my vehicle. More

Classic Bait and Switch We agreed on a lease deal. Didn’t have a color. I asked if they could get one and they said at the deal we agreed to I would have to take dealer stock We agreed on a lease deal. Didn’t have a color. He comes back, with, We’ll have the car tomorrow. At the deal we agreed to. Great. I give him a $500 deposit. Calls me late next day says its coming later can you come the following day to pick it up. I agree. The following day I call and ask for status and salesman says they can’t get me the color I want. He says that he can do $10/month better if I take a different color. I agree. I went to pick up car, and sit with wife and daughter and salesman. He goes over terms of deal again and we all agree that this is the deal we’ve been talking about. Get car on insurance policy and then go in to financing. Signing stuff with financing and then he asks for about $600 more than I agreed to. Gets salesperson in room with us and says there was a breakdown in communication with sales and GM and they won’t honor the deal sales and I agreed to. They lied to me and now my kids who thought they were getting their first car tonight do not have one. To top it off, the GM who said that’s not the deal we agreed to tells us the color I want is there. Unbelievable!!! Don’t deal with these liars. I have leased 3-4 vehicles from the previous owners of this dealership and never had a problem. When the new Pilot came out I aske for a test drive since my current lease was about 6 months out. I was told that they don’t want to give me a test drive since I was not ready to get a car. I thought then never to deal with these guys but I thought I would give them another chance. Should have stuck with my first thoughts. I’ll never walk in their again beware of this dealership. More

STAY AWAY FROM THEM After receiving an advertisement in the mail my husband and I decided to go and check them out. We already had a 2016 Hyundai which we stilled owed on After receiving an advertisement in the mail my husband and I decided to go and check them out. We already had a 2016 Hyundai which we stilled owed on. So we went in and were approached by Damien. We sat down with him and I explained to him that our credit wasn't good due to the fact that I was out of work for a period of time. So after running our credit we were told that they could get us into a new car. but we had to surrender our Hyundai back to the bank. we were concerned what it would do to our already bad credit and was told not to worry because if we continued in good standing with Honda Financial and were not late with our payments that it would help our credit and we would always be able to get credit from them. so after my husband and I talked about it we decided to surrender the car and make whatever payments to the bank after the car was sold for we didn't want to short the other bank, we decided to do it being that Honda 's were such good cars. So after sitting there for 5 hours our sales person which was too busy taking care of everyone else finally had us test drive a Honda HRV which we absolutely loved.. We signed a lease agreement with them (which was not honored) and finally left. We had the car for 2 weeks we thought everything was fine until we received a letter in the mail from Honda Financial that our financing did not go through. We had to call them, they never called us to tell us that there was a problem with the financing. So we went back to them and were told not to worry about it that it was being worked on..So we left. On our way home we received a phone call that we needed to come back.. We spoke to Mike in finance and he told us that we could not keep the car but they could get us into an older car. We were so upset at that time because here we are we gave up a 2016 car which we had a great payment history with thinking we were going to get into a better car. Now we have no car another black mark on our credit which we have been working on repairing all for nothing. All because they wanted to beat a sales record. We did have one good experience there, We had the pleasure of spending some time with Cory Jordan. We found him to be so sweet. we are looking to see if we have any legal recourse. I do not recommend them. I know nothing will be done but I just wanted to put this out there. More
