Excellent service department I took my 25 year old Honda Civic with >110 K miles to a local service provider for a routine timing belt and water pump change with a poor outcome wh I took my 25 year old Honda Civic with >110 K miles to a local service provider for a routine timing belt and water pump change with a poor outcome which could not be corrected by the efforts of another local repair shop, apparently due to difficulties diagnosing the cause of the problem. This was only diagnosed and corrected by the excellent and successful efforts of Mike Chirichello and his colleagues at Honda Freehold after which the car recovered it's original vitality. Many thanks for their skillful efforts. Highly recommend. More

Great dealership with a great sales process!!! I wanted to get another Honda Accord for my wife and decided to try Freehold Honda. I have been buying/leasing Honda's for over a decade and had used I wanted to get another Honda Accord for my wife and decided to try Freehold Honda. I have been buying/leasing Honda's for over a decade and had used Academy and Kay Honda, the 2 other Honda dealerships in my area, but never Freehold. Their prior management team was a hard-sell, bait and switch dealership that I never found to be open and honest. The new team at Freehold is just the opposite! Working with Favaad and Sam, I was able to get the exact car I wanted at the exact price I was willing to pay without being pressured or manipulated. In fact, the process was so fair and open, I went back 2 days later and leased another new Accord for myself!!! Great job team!! You have a customer for life!!! More

Bad Customer Service Had a bad experience when I called to schedule an appointment to fix the engine of my vehicle (under warranty and purchased from Honda of freehold). Each employee kept transferring me to the his/her coworker FIVE times and the last person transferred me to his voicemail. Each time I had to explain my problem allover again. Nobody wanted to help. I left a voicemail, and nobody called back. I guess warranty is not something like to hear. More
DISAPPOINTED WITH MY CHOICE OF DEALERS I purchased a new 2019 Accord in February and have been waiting to write a review with hopes that the dealership would end up doing the right thing. I purchased a new 2019 Accord in February and have been waiting to write a review with hopes that the dealership would end up doing the right thing. Five months later they still haven't so I am ready to let my opinion count. I went in to purchase a car after ending my lease a few months early. I felt I did my homework and was prepared but alone as a female purchaser. Unfortunately everything people warn you about happened to me. I was promised certain deals with the purchase buy back and it never occurred. My salesman Ron Teplisky to this day still admits that he was promised no extra hidden charges and when I did receive them for overage mileage he would take care of it since it was part of the deal. His manager Howard said it wasn't part of the deal. Both the salesman and I agree it was and when I spoke to the manager to discuss it he said we made an agreement for them to pay for 1/2 the overage. I never agreed verbally nor written to that statement. After calling so many times and getting nowhere with him I have succumbed to paying 1/2 the overage. This was the second part of a horrible experience with Dan Cohen, Business Manager from finance. Speaking to me as if I do not understand the financials and trying to rush me through the initial process and pushing papers with wrong numbers on me. At least I was able to fight him directly as I sat there and got the numbers the way they were promised. Just thinking maybe that was where I got fooled about the other agreement. Looking back I will NEVER purchase another car from them. I know it takes effort to write a review, especially a bad one but felt the need to get these names out there. Remember that you are dealing with car salesman and they have a reputation to be a certain way for a reason. I still believe that something will change and they will cover the additional $651 they cost me. If not then karma will be a b--ch when it comes around. More
