I don't know the dealer side as I haven't dealt with them. I am, however, very disappointed with the poor service I received. There is clear evidence that maintenance was not done despite asking several them. I am, however, very disappointed with the poor service I received. There is clear evidence that maintenance was not done despite asking several times if they were certain it was. I was told everything was good. I looked at the report which said the same. I question this because I did a drop off on Friday at 5pm for a 7:30am service. At 6pm I got a call saying the car was done. I said I couldn't come until the next day but asked if they were sure it was done since it was scheduled for the next day. I even called next day to confirm it was done and they said yes. Here is how I know they didn't do anything but an oil change, which I'm suspect to and might do myself just to be safe. I had a brake light out, which I knew, and they did not fix. They are supposed to do a walk around to see. I had a noise in the car which I told them about, they said they fixed, they didn't, turns out it was power steering fluid needed. Said my battery was good. A week later I needed my car jump started by AAA. AAA looked at records and said I had my car jumped about six months prior and then should have had a new battery as it tested poorly. Only reason AAA didn't do it then the guy ran out and they forgot to reschedule as did I. I have owned this car for 10 years and love it. It has been a great car. Was considering getting another when finances were better and the car died. I didn't expect the service department to try and speed up that death. Oh and I fixed all the issues myself. But I'm not sure I will return to this dealership again. I'd give 0 stars if I could but wasn't sure if it'd go through. I'm so disappointed. Can't remember who "helped" me so I gave 1 to all the people listed. I apologize if you weren't involved. More
Leased a new car with Honda of Freehold and turned my old car in early. They were supposed to pay the last couple months of my lease off, but they never sent the check into the leasing company. My account showed late fees on the old lease, and I couldn’t add my new leased car to the account. I called and left multiple messages with my salesperson, Finance and the Customer Relations Manager, but nobody returned my calls. The leasing company said I was still liable and needed to pay the account within a week, or it would affect my credit. They finally got involved with contacting the dealership. After numerous additional calls from them, the dealership finally looked into the issue and resent the check. My old leased car was still sitting in their lot for more than a month and is supposed to be returned to the leasing company. This was a major hassle I had to deal with, when I should have just been enjoying my new leased car. More
