The dealership is sketchy at best. I’ve worked at a Honda dealership in Ohio for 8 years now. My sister just recently graduated from collage is is now a nurse in the Fort Meyers area. When she bought her civic new she also purchased an extended warranty, when I visited last week I noticed some belt noise, and suggested going to the nearest dealership because it would be covered. During the inspection the tech confirmed the belt tensioner needed replaced and the belt was worn/ damaged (the vehicle has around 110k miles so was due to be replaced anyway). The warranty company paid for the tensioner, but seeing as belts are wearable items wouldn’t cover it (which is totally expected)........ Seeing as it was a warranty job they felt they had to take advantage of her (not knowing her bother is a Honda platinum technician) she sent me a photo of a quote in which they were trying to charge her $103.39 for the belt ( which has a list from Honda of $45.95), plus a half hour labor ($54) to replace a belt that that had to take off to do the warranty work anyway. After informing the advisor that her brother is a tech, and knew they tried to charge double on a part he told her “I’ll see what I can do about the price”. I can only image how bad they take advantage of the elderly in that area who just don’t know any better. I told my fellow Honda colleagues about this, and showed them the screen shots and we are all beyond disgusted that a fellow dealership does this to people. I understand how we make out money, but taking complete advantage of a customer isn’t how we want to make ours. More
Poor Customer Service! Made a appointment on the 20th of April for service, I work nights but got up early due to a recall on my Odyssey, When I arrived for service, I was i Made a appointment on the 20th of April for service, I work nights but got up early due to a recall on my Odyssey, When I arrived for service, I was informed that the parts ran out two days ago and they were suppose to arrive that morning but Honda did not inform me. The service rep did track down the parts the same day and called me to reschedule for the 27th. Had my car serviced on the 27th, waited for 3 hours, noticed my car sitting out front and my service provider was not around. Asked another service provider and he found my paper work, asked for a signature and said I was good to go. When I opened my car door, I noticed that someone stepped in mud and then my floor mat and carpet! The plastic was still on the seat, waiter sign on my dash and the paper that Honda puts on the floor mat was slid to the side with mud! Went in side to speak with the Service Manager Mr. Travis Hines, he was not in his office and asked for his card. Sent Mr. Hines a email with pictures and asked for a phone call and informed Mr. Hines I work nights, did receive a phone call on 30 April from Mr. Hines. I called Honda and was disconnected twice by the operator who put me on hold and is to incompetent to transfer calls, the third time I left a voice mail. It is now 7 May, I have not received a phone call or an email, that is very stereotypical of Honda of Fort Meyers, before this I had my brakes replaced on my CRV and who ever was inside my car put there hand print on the inside of my windshield. A LOT OF ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT HERE!!!!!!! More

Service on AC We were 2000 miles from home and the AC went out on our Pilot. Ken the service manager got me in first thing in the morning, and had the AC fixed in less than 3 hours. In addition, they fixed a recall regarding the airbag inflator that I didn’t know about. The price seemed somewhat high, but I guess that would be the case everywhere. Anyway, the work was done right and done promptly. More

They gave me a old age unit that was from another Dealership. The Odometer statement I received said that there was 3 miles on the car, when it actually had 536 miles. More
