A big waste of my time In my 76 years I have never had a more sorry auto service experience. I've been driving my mother in-law's 2016 CRV while in town assisting since her In my 76 years I have never had a more sorry auto service experience. I've been driving my mother in-law's 2016 CRV while in town assisting since her husbands recent death. I was experiencing a serious acceleration flat spot (lag) while pulling away from a stop or trying to merge into a string of moving vehicles. I asked the service adviser how long he estimated the diagnosis would take. I was told 45 minutes to an hour. I specifically mentioned if it would be greater than an hour I would make an appointment for another time. Two hours later I was still waiting. When I asked two different advisers where my car was I was told it was being washed and would be available in just a few minutes. When finally the car was rolled up to the delivery line I was told No Trouble Found and no error codes displayed. I had mentioned the problem was intermittent. It seems the mechanic had driven the car a few miles and scanned the ECM - for 2 hours? I was hesitant to allow my mother in-law back behind the wheel. Stay tuned for my posts to Yelp, The Consumerist, and Ripoff Report. Oh, one more thing. After perusing the internet and thinking about what might be the problem, I think I may have fixed the potentially serious flaw. I haven't driven enough to be sure, but am hoping the 'fix is in'.
