My recent visit to Honda of Escondido for a leasing transaction left me with mixed feelings. Firstly, I commend Honda of Escondido for offering a quality selection of vehicles and providing a smooth leasing process overall. The vehicle I leased meets my expectations, and I am pleased with my choice. However, my satisfaction with the vehicle was overshadowed by the lack of professionalism and transparency exhibited by the sales representative, Mr. Ray Sun. Firstly, I found the lack of transparency concerning handling my credit information. It was only after the fact that I discovered my credit had been run multiple times, both by the dealership and Honda Finance, without prior disclosure. Despite assurances from the sales representative, Mr. Ray Sun, that this was standard protocol, the immediate impact on my credit score was evident. This lack of transparency and disregard for the customer's financial well-being was disheartening. During these interactions, Mr. Sun displayed behavior that fell short of the professionalism expected from a representative of the Honda brand. His demeanor was confrontational and dismissive, creating a negative atmosphere that detracted from the overall experience. Instead of addressing my concerns with tact and courtesy, Mr. Sun's behavior only served to exacerbate the situation, leaving me feeling unheard and frustrated. Furthermore, crucial financial details, such as the interest rate associated with my lease agreement, were not adequately addressed, leaving me feeling uninformed and uncertain. Despite my reservations about certain aspects of my experience, I believe that Honda of Escondido has much to offer customers. The dealership provides quality vehicles and services, and I would recommend it to others. However, I strongly advise potential customers to avoid dealing with Mr. Ray Sun, as his behavior does not align with the professionalism and customer service values synonymous with the Honda brand. In conclusion, while I am satisfied with the vehicle I leased from Honda of Escondido, my experience was marred by the conduct of one of the sales representatives. I hope the dealership takes steps to address these concerns and ensure that all customers receive the level of service and respect they deserve. More
Tony and JJ both tried to sell me a car without ever disclosing it had 3500 dollars worth of aftermarket things. The advertisement on autotrader and honda of Escondido didn't even mention it. Had a price listed for thousands less than they tried to sell the car for. Niether Tony nor jj said anything. Ran my credit and were finalizing terms. I was looking around for cars and was willing to visit any dealership that offered a competitive price. The next day he calls me and hears about this, and asks why did I reach out to them, and gets all mad at me. What’s the first thing to do when you get a new car? You shop around. Best car purchase experience ever. We were set on an Atlas but thought we’d check out the Pilot before we bought just in case. We got there at 6:30 and left with our new pilot at 8:30 We were set on an Atlas but thought we’d check out the Pilot before we bought just in case. We got there at 6:30 and left with our new pilot at 8:30, the entire staff was very professional and knowledgeable about their product (something we didn’t experience at VW) it was a low pressure and easy setting, even with a newborn who tagged along for the fun. We will recommend Honda of Escondido to everyone. Thank you to Mazi, Jorge and everyone who helped us! More
Thank you to the service team at Escondido Honda! I was greeted by Doug Wilson. He was very curious and efficient. His customer service is outstanding. I had to pass 2 other Honda dealerships to get to Esc greeted by Doug Wilson. He was very curious and efficient. His customer service is outstanding.
