These people are scammers. They sold me a car with a leaky gasket, I went to them to get it fixed instead of them using the Illinois implied warranty they were trying to use th They sold me a car with a leaky gasket, I went to them to get it fixed instead of them using the Illinois implied warranty they were trying to use the extended warranty I purchased. Which is illegal under Illinois law. I asked to speak with the GM and instead of him calling me back to have a conversation he had the service guy text and call me to say that this car was sold as is. Which is not a thing under Illinois law Instead of this company doing the right thing under the law, I have since had to hire a lawyer to deal with them and there fraudulent practices.Buyer beware! The price of the car was competitive with others. The team had it ready for my scheduled test drive and the sales person was nice. There were unexpected costs when we sat down to discuss the purchase The team had it ready for my scheduled test drive and the sales person was nice. There were unexpected costs when we sat down to discuss the purchase that were not explained very well because the salesperson was new. The cost above what was listed included a separate charge for the inspection the dealer did before listing the car for sale. We negotiated some on that, but they were not willing to remove it completely. The documenting charge was also higher than expected, but still something I was willing to pay for the ease of not having to do it myself. After agreeing on a price I waited almost 2 hours to talk to the financing representative even though I was not applying for credit and was paying with a check. That seemed excessive to me even though it was a busy Saturday morning. One hour on a busy day is probably fine. After that I was beginning to wonder if they really wanted my business. The financing representative also pushed very hard for me to purchase a warranty even after I clearly stated I was not interested. I can understand that was probably just covering their bases in case I come back with concerns about the car, but after a 2 hour wait to talk with him, it felt like they just wanted more of my money than I was willing to give them. More
