Not first time using this service dept, but first time using it since purchasing new car which happened to be newly designed HRV for 2023. So when rear windshield spontaneously exploded and they initiall using it since purchasing new car which happened to be newly designed HRV for 2023. So when rear windshield spontaneously exploded and they initially told me I would have to pay for it even though I’ve only had the car 10 months, I was upset. I filed complaints with NHTSA and Honda corporate offices. They also were going to charge me for the oil change I requested and tire rotation they recommended. I pushed back on that too because those services should have been covered by Service Pass for all 2023+ cars. Once I escalated these concerns, the dealership responded quickly and confirmed maintenance and repair of window would be completed at no charge. They also fixed problem with loose door panel at no charge. So although it was a rough start and I had to be my own advocate, they did follow through. I just hope there is no recurring defect with the rear windshield as has been reported online More
