My experience with this dealership is lengthy, and a large majority was unsatisfactory. I gave plenty of opportunity for resolution of my customer service issues but I was never followed up with. All I really wanted was an apology for how the days following my purchase went. When I was not contacted further I decided to leave a google and Facebook review (which the details of were made practically insignificant when the General Manager, Rob Tharp, contacted me with what I can only assume was a motive to escalate the situation further) When contacted by Rob the next morning he told me he was under the impression that the matter had been resolved, I told him that although my battery was replaced I felt my experience as a whole needed to be seen and read by others. He went on to say things that I can only guess are written down on a sticky note somewhere in his office because the amount of times I have read them in response to so many other negative reviews from the past is ridiculous. "Reviews don't fix customer issues, people do" "we have nothing to gain from an upset customer" and that he just wants to "restore faith in us as a dealer". He told me he would be posting "the facts" so that others would see "what really happened" which I have also have seen in response to previous reviews. He also went on to tell me that when the battery was replaced in my car the mechanic did not think it was necessary, but "did it anyway". I stated my concerns in my review that I felt they put a battery in just to make me happy and that true root of the problem was not addressed, his comment gave validity to my worries. He accused me of refusing help because of my hesitation to go back up there, when the only solution he provided was an explanation of their diagnosis for me to "better understand". My entire complaint from the beginning was that of the multiple times I was at the dealership my concerns were not taken seriously, why would another trip for them to tell me why I was wrong be any different? He will say in his response that I hung up on him, which is true, I do not do well with confrontation and I had become emotional and knew that continuing the conversation was not going to bring a positive outcome. His behaviors are manipulative, condescending, did nothing to resolve any of the previous issues I had with the Honda of Denton Shop, and in fact added a far larger one. I'm not sure how a person that possesses the qualities he does ever got into the position he has. All I wanted out of any of this was faith that the customer after me would have a better experience, I did not get that. In fact, I now have full faith that the Honda of Denton shop will never flourish as long as Rob Tharp is the one in charge. More
I would like to give special thanks to Colton, the internet sales manger for keeping his word on giving me 4500 off the Honda Accord 2.0 sport. Even tho i was 4 day pass the labor day sale. Even follow-up with me a week after my purchase, dealer even drove my car to my house, i drove my other car up there .Also would like to thank Brandon in finance for a smooth transaction, even got my rate down some more than my original rate. No pressure what's so ever, respectful, honest, straight forward. From time i walk in and test drove, paperwork i was in and out 2 hours. Overall extremely happy with my new 2020 Blue Honda Accord 2.0 Sport. More
Gave Honda CR-V for oil change on a good day and the gave the vehicle damaged with dent and made my whole week bad. So they asked me to leave the vehicle at dealership for 2 days and the service manager said they would fix the damage and repaint the door and gave me a loaner. When I came back after 2 days to pick up my car, they made a mess of my car. There was primer white marks all over the door and inside my car was full of paint dust. The paint job done was of extremely poor quality and finish and they had made it horrible. My first mistake to go to "Honda of Denton" for service and second biggest mistake was to make then fix the dent which they did at shop. More
I own a 2005 Honda Accord. The problem I had with it was that it would not start but the engine would turn over. I took it to an auto repair shop to have it fixed. After two days I was told that I needed that it would not start but the engine would turn over. I took it to an auto repair shop to have it fixed. After two days I was told that I needed a new controller board to fix the problem and that it would 3 to 4 weeks to get it. I called Honda of Denton and explained the problem to them and they said that they didn't think it was the controller card but would need to run diagnostics on it to be sure. I got the car to them around 4 PM Friday and explained the problem to Josh W., (Service Rep). By 6 PM that same day he called me up and told me the all I needed was a fuse. My car was ready by 2 PM the next day. Thank you Josh and Honda of Denton for the quick turn around, you all did a great job!!!!!!!!!! More
