recall and oil change I was contacted by our salesman, Mathew Vidrine that we needed to bring the van in for a recall. I told him when it would be convenient for me and he I was contacted by our salesman, Mathew Vidrine that we needed to bring the van in for a recall. I told him when it would be convenient for me and he set up the appointment with service. When I arrived, I was met by a service writer and told him what I needed and he said he would take care of my needs. When the van was ready, he explained what was done and the inspection. Thieves I was a cash paying customer for over 15 years and even went back for service post warranty because I trusted this dealership. Two weeks ago (May 2019 I was a cash paying customer for over 15 years and even went back for service post warranty because I trusted this dealership. Two weeks ago (May 2019), during an oil change and car wash, an employee stole over $100 worth of stuff out of my car. We immediately noticed and they took our name and never called us. A different service manager called the next week to see how our service was...um, pretty bad! He said the detail manager, who is the only person who can pull the tapes (highly doubtful) is on vacation and would call me Friday, Monday at the latest. Well, it has been one week since that Monday passed and not one call from Honda. The stolen items can be replaced, and I get it if you couldn't see anything clear on the camera - I'm not trying to have anyone fired (although what low lifespan do they hire that steals from the CUPHOLDER?) - it is how MANAGEMENT dropped the ball repeatedly and offered no remedy. This is how they treat a 15+ year loyal customer, shame on Honda of Covington. I'll never be back and be screaming this from the mountaintop. More
