Thanks for assuring me that my 2008 Odyssey is running properly. However, the battery test was botched. I was able to drive home and then called AAA. The AAA technician cleaned the battery posts and sh properly. However, the battery test was botched. I was able to drive home and then called AAA. The AAA technician cleaned the battery posts and showed me that the 6-month old AAA battery was fine. He then cleaned and repaired all of the battery cables, which were corroded. I'm glad I didn't accept Honda advice to buy a new battery! You need to be more careful when testing a new battery in an older car because of the risk of corrosion in the posts and cables. I will nevertheless return for service when my Odyssey tells me that service is needed. More
