Poor Service and staff does not seem to care I purchased my Honda CRV one year ago in Ohio. I moved to South Carolina. This is the first time using this dealership. The shifter broke on my Ho I purchased my Honda CRV one year ago in Ohio. I moved to South Carolina. This is the first time using this dealership. The shifter broke on my Honda. I brought the car in. The part is not a stock part and has to be ordered. I returned one week later. They took my car and 45 MINUTES later the service manager comes and tells me the wrong part was ordered and I would have to come back again. I was told not to make an appointment. Just bring the car in and due to my inconvenience they would take me right away without an appointment. I waited another week. I called and the new part was in. I had to go out of town so I asked a friend to bring in my car. When he arrived, they asked him if he had an appointment. He explained the situation to them. They said he could wait but it would be atleast 45 minutes but probably longer since there was a person ahead of him who had been waiting two hours. They said the best thing to do would be to return with an appointment because they still might not be able to repair the car even though it was supposed to be a simple fix. My friend contacted me. I reached out to the service department. The service representative said that was the way it would be so I asked to speak with her manager who knew of my situation. It went straight to voice mail. I called back and spoke with Danny in sales and asked for the general manager. He said he would connect me with Mr. Lawson. I explained I did want to be put into voice mail. He said he could see Mr. Lawson in his office and it would not go to voicemail. He connected me and it went straight to voice mail. I left a message and as of one hour later I still had not received a call back. Of course no one seems to care. My friend could not wait any longer. He had to make an appointment. This will be our fourth trip back to this dealership to get something fixed that should take only a few minutes. My advice if you deal with anyone in this place is get their names so this does not happen to you. More

During the course of this year I am a repeat customer of Honda of Columbia...6 Hondas purchased from this dealership over the course of several years. During the course of this year, I have had all our cars serviced with their Service Department, even after the warranty has expired. While I have acknowledged Jamie before, would like to do so again. Jamie Bostrom is always accommodating. Several of our Hondas are older and have needed considerable work this year. Today is no exception. I placed the call early this morning to ask if he could take a look at the car and, as is always the case, was very accommodating. While it is part of the job, I appreciate his professionalism and his approach to what is often a very stressful time. More

Great Service Department! I had to take my car in to be serviced for new brakes. Upon arrival, my battery died right there in the bay area. I had only budgeted for the brakes I had to take my car in to be serviced for new brakes. Upon arrival, my battery died right there in the bay area. I had only budgeted for the brakes, but the Service Manager worked with me and was able to get me back up and running in no time. I truly appreciate his compassion at this holiday season when budgets are stretched so thin. I will definitely be back! More
Traveling Preston Locklear and the Service team were great. My husband was traveling through coming from FL to get home to TN this morning. Our 2010 Accord check engine light started flashing, he took a change and pulled in hoping we wouldn't wind up with to much trouble. Not only was everyone helpful and friendly, they understood, he just wanted to get home. They got the car fixed and my husband back on the road headed home in an hour! Plus we find out in the end that it was covered under a warranty extension from Honda. This is our 7th Honda and have always drove them 200+thousand miles. This was a welcome surprise under the circumstances, having never had any trouble from a Honda in the past. What made this better is how kind Preston was and quick to get it fixed and hubby heading home! Thank you to all of you More

After a month, I noticed a small "defect" and made an appointment to have someone in the service department look at my car. I dealt with Jamie Bostrom. After attempting to fix the problem, he realized that the item needed to be replaced. I went back to Honda of Columbia on August 5th to have the item replaced. Jamie was very thorough and kept me informed, as I opted to wait while my car was being fixed. He made sure I was happy with the completed work and I am grateful for the ease of this entire process. Honda of Columbia must be a great employer to work for as I have seen the same faces there for years. They seem to know how to treat their employees as well as their customers.
