My experience with Honda of Columbia was a great one. Mr Leroy Doby was an experienced salesman who knew his inventory and was very easy to talk to. Generally a good visit. I knew the car I wanted so that was the easy part. The negotiation of the price was a positive one and we settled on a price. I felt there was more room to negotiate on the vehicle, but in the end, we agreed. I was very unhappy with the fact it took over an hour to get the vehicle prepped and ready to go. After all the negotiations were done and I wrote a check for the vehicle, I sat in the waiting room for over an hour while several cars were prepped and prepared for delivery. I arrived at the dealership around 4pm, got the deal done and paid for the car by 5:30pm and didn't leave the dealership until after 7pm, so that was something I felt was poor service, but overall, the visit was a 3.5/5.0. We settled on a 2012 Civic EX and were able to get what we thought was fair for our trade. We bought the Civic and have been very pleased with it so far. I was pleased with the sales and service staff (especially Paula in Service, she's great!) and felt like they have taken good care of us. I am sure it's tough for car dealerships to make people feel like they can be trusted with all of the bad apples out there. Make sure you know what you want, what it's worth, and stick to what you know is right and fair and you'll find Honda Cars of Columbia a good place to do business. They go the extra mile in making sure you are well taken care of and I would recommend them to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle. More
