He was interested in what we liked about our Accord and what we might like in another vehicle. His knowledge of features and safety was extensive and thorough. He was patient with all questions. We told him a car was a purchase we could not make in a snap; we needed time for this decision. There was no high power pressure and this made us feel all the more comfortable. Our interaction with the finance office brought us to Paul Ahn. Again, we were treated with courtesy and patience. All questions were answered with accuracy and clear explanations. If questions arose after we got home (during our consideration process), a return phone call was extremely prompt. We were never rushed or pushed into anything. Al Tejado handled our paperwork efficiently and made sure our satisfaction was complete. I cannot stress enough - Courtesy and patience was outstanding. Will we buy from them again? You bet we will! Note: Our 2011 Accord was not purchased from Honda of Columbia, but we do make use of their service dept with complete confidence and satisfaction. More

This is the first dealership we have ever visited in over 35 years that one will feel welcomed and treated respectfully and tactfully. During our first visit to test drive a couple of vehicles there was never any pressure nor any of those cliche lines from the salesman. When we informed Emmett that we wished to test drive comparable vehicles from other makers he was cordial and thanked us for visiting, but never used any manipulative, false guilt producing, lines to keep us on the premises. As we parted and said we would be back to do more research and test driving Emmett smiled and said, "I know you will." It was said much more so from confidence in the Honda line. Indeed, we returned, test drove an Accord one more time, and made our decision. The purchasing process was painless, and Albert Tojeda was able to offer us a financing package that suited our situation and budget (it does help that we had a super credit rating!). Here's the underlying factor in our decision besides the fact that Honda sells an incredible product: Emmett and Albert, in the brief time available, got to know us and were very relational. We were informed consumers and not just another sale to be made to make the monthly quota. Thanks, Honda of Columbia! More

Let me first start by saying this car purchase experience is the absolute best experience of all of my car purchases. It began via the internet. Mr. Braulio Rivera offered very competitive pricing not only is the absolute best experience of all of my car purchases. It began via the internet. Mr. Braulio Rivera offered very competitive pricing not only on the new car of interest but even on my trade (sight-unseen). I advised Mr. Rivera of another offer on my trade, and he worked with the sales manager to match that offer, again sight unseen and without my even asking for the match. They offered me a much better overall deal than my local dealer. My local dealership representatives understood I was a well qualified buyer, and despite the fact I was sitting face-to-face with them, they allowed $800 to interfere with our closing the deal. They thought my offer was "unrealistic," but the Honda of Columbia sales team did not share that sentiment. With very little back and forth, Mr. Rivera offered essentially the same overall deal that I'd tried to get my local dealer to offer. It even included two years of maintenance which made the deal even better than the local deal I attempted to secure. I paid a deposit by phone to hold the car, and I traveled slightly more than an hour to close the deal with Honda of Columbia. Upon my arrival to the dealership a few days later, the car was cleaned and waiting for me inside! I took it for a test drive feeling like a superstar! I'm in Columbia all of the time so yes, I will make use of the two-year maintenance plan. I also worked with Mr. Asten Lawson, one of the finance managers. He did his job so well that I not only opted for in-house financing (I'd already secured outside financing), but he actually talked me into purchasing an extended warranty. He was also very responsive and timely. I've yet to need service after the sale, but if post-sale service is anything like the sales process, I am in for another pleasant experience. This is my first Honda, but I've already told my loyal Honda friends and family that I strongly encourage them to consider Honda of Columbia for their next Honda purchase. More
I was interested in purchasing a reliable,used economy car to drive back and forth to work. Honda of Columbia was the 6th dealership my husband and I had visited over the past few weeks. We were greeted in the lot by John Nick and both knew instantly this was going to be a vastly different experience for us. John was very professional, honest,friendly and very knowledgeable. AL Tejada assisted us with warranty information and all of the necessary paperwork. He too was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Qualities we had not seen in the many other sales staff we had met at the 6 other dealerships. The entire experience was pleasant and not at all stressful. My husband and myself went into Honda Cars of Columbia not planning on purchasing a car. While we were waiting for a quote Robert talked to us and showed us some cars that would stay in our budget if we were to buy a car. He answered all our questions with no hesitation and was just as enthusiastic with the whole interaction as if we were going to walk out with a car that day. After getting a quote and looking at a couples cars we were introduced to Chris Burns the sales manager who was very courteous and professional. We went home that day and we were very happy with how we were treated even though we did not buy a car. We decided to go back and purchase one of the cars that Robert had shown us a couple days before. I called the dealership to make sure Robert was working and spoke with Chris Burns. We found out Robert was off that day but we really wanted to deal with Robert moving forward. Chris called Robert and Robert was there when we got the that evening ready to work with us, even though it was his birthday. Robert then introduced us to Al Tejado who would be the finance manager that would be working with us and he was very knowledgeable and helpful in making sure we understood everything. After we were done working with Al, Robert showed us all the manuals and how everything worked before we drove off the lot with our new car. Everyone we worked with helped us out a lot and we were very pleased with the customer service we received both times we were at the dealership. More
