I was interested in purchasing a reliable,used economy car to drive back and forth to work. Honda of Columbia was the 6th dealership my husband and I had visited over the past few weeks. We were greeted in the lot by John Nick and both knew instantly this was going to be a vastly different experience for us. John was very professional, honest,friendly and very knowledgeable. AL Tejada assisted us with warranty information and all of the necessary paperwork. He too was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Qualities we had not seen in the many other sales staff we had met at the 6 other dealerships. The entire experience was pleasant and not at all stressful. I will share this very positive experience with everyone! Not to mention I love my Honda Fit! Thanks John, Al and Honda of Columbia. More
My husband and myself went into Honda Cars of Columbia not planning on purchasing a car. Robert Burgess Introduced himself and from there we went on to tell him we just wanted to see what Honda would give not planning on purchasing a car. While we were waiting for a quote Robert talked to us and showed us some cars that would stay in our budget if we were to buy a car. He answered all our questions with no hesitation and was just as enthusiastic with the whole interaction as if we were going to walk out with a car that day. After getting a quote and looking at a couples cars we were introduced to Chris Burns the sales manager who was very courteous and professional. We went home that day and we were very happy with how we were treated even though we did not buy a car. We decided to go back and purchase one of the cars that Robert had shown us a couple days before. I called the dealership to make sure Robert was working and spoke with Chris Burns. We found out Robert was off that day but we really wanted to deal with Robert moving forward. Chris called Robert and Robert was there when we got the that evening ready to work with us, even though it was his birthday. Robert then introduced us to Al Tejado who would be the finance manager that would be working with us and he was very knowledgeable and helpful in making sure we understood everything. After we were done working with Al, Robert showed us all the manuals and how everything worked before we drove off the lot with our new car. Everyone we worked with helped us out a lot and we were very pleased with the customer service we received both times we were at the dealership. More
The Accord Coup I just purchased is the 5th Honda I have had in succession since '81. My last Honda was also an Accord Coup and served me well for 207,000 trouble free miles. The engine purred as smoothly when traded as it did new. I had been looking for a new vehicle for around a year and just didn't pull the trigger until last Week. I met with Mr. Rivera on Thursday morning and he was able to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. We were able to arrive at the right vehicle in a couple of hours. It was necessary to order the car I wanted and Columbia Honda was able to get it in and prepped for my pick up the next Monday. I was very happy with the service I received from Mr. Rivera and very happy with the professional handling of the financing requirements by Mr. Tejada. He was able to explain all of the options to me quickly but thoroughly. Thank you to both Mr. Rivera and Mr. Tejada for their help in getting me into my new Honda so painlessly!! Roger. W. I had a really great experience at Honda of Columbia! I’ve never owned a Honda and the reason I chose Honda of Columbia, is because of where I am employed. I work at John Harris Body Shop, and we repair I’ve never owned a Honda and the reason I chose Honda of Columbia, is because of where I am employed. I work at John Harris Body Shop, and we repair a great deal of Hondas and we have a great parts relationship with Honda of Columbia. I decided to go online to look and see the used car inventory because I needed to get out of my high interest rate “gas hog”. I begin my search on a Thursday morning and was immediately contacted about my interest via email by Lonnie Mcgraw.. I then told Lonnie what I was looking for and he begin my search. I wasn’t sure if I would be approved for a loan because of my credit. I asked Lonnie to see if it would be worth my time and his before I came down and test drove. Lonnie said he felt it would be a good chance and I needed to stop in on my way home. While I was in there Thursday night he and Pail Auhn were working some numbers and wasn’t able to get me in the used CRV like I had originally wanted. Paul suggested a 2012 Civic Hybrid since I was looking to save money on gas. I really had my mind set on a SUV since that’s what I was used to driving, but it quickly changed when Lonnie and I test drove the Civic. I really liked it and decided then that would be a great purchase for me, if I could get approved. Paul suggested that I bring in some documents that he felt like would help with my financing approval. I went home Thursday night and gathered the documents and brought them to Paul on Friday morning. After working on the numbers most of the day, Paul then called me Friday evening to let me know the great news of my approval. I was so excited to hear those words. I feel if it weren’t for Lonnie and Paul taking the time to help me with my financial situation, I’d still be stuck in my high interest rate “gas hog” or in another high interest rate vehicle elsewhere. I really appreciate the service I received and I will defiantly recommend Honda of Columbia to anyone in the market for a vehicle. More
Everyone I dealt with at the dealership was very helpful. After coming to the dealership in person, the salesrep I work with was very nice, allowed me to take the vehicle for a test drive with my entire family, and was definitely "no pressure." I came to the dealership knowing that I was not going to purchase a vehicle that day, and there was none of the (unfortunately) usual salesrep hassle. No "today only" or "what can we do to get you into a car" stuff. Just a smile and a handshake and understanding my position. Ultimately we purchased the vehicle we test drove. The process was quick and pain-free. Thank you Honda of Columbia, and thank you Lonnie McGraw, for an enjoyable experience. More
This was my third vehicle purchase from HOC. First was a used Honda Ridgeline, great truck, second was a leased 2011 Accord. George introduced me to the Civic. Loved it. George and Chris worked hard to meet my unreasonable expectations and I ended up out of my lease and with a new EX Civic. George was great to work with, straight forward, listened to what I wanted and worked to get it. Highly recommend him for anyone looking for a Honda. More
Our son told us about how well he was taken care of when he bought a Honda Odyssey here. So when we needed to find a car we decided to look here. He was every bit as enthusiastic about answering our questions and showing us a few cars as if we were going to buy something that day. We've met the kind of salesman that just doesn't put forth much when you let them know you are just looking. Robert Burgess is not that kind of salesman. Because he was like that, after we looked at cars elsewhere, we decided to come back to Honda of Columbia in order to buy a car from him. We took the car for a test drive and he encouraged us to check it out in a way that gave us a good feel for how the car performed. Everyone we met at the dealership was very nice and welcoming. Al Tejado was very nice and helpful when we got down to the business of paying for our car. He offered us several options and we let him know how we needed/wanted to work things out. When we were finished with Al, Robert reviewed the features and various controls in the car and how to work them. He was very clear and good at explaining things. We just do not have any complaints or criticisms to offer. He covered everything in a very helpful and courteous manner. We are now thoroughly enjoying our new Honda Fit Sport. More
