This dealership was hasslefree and accomodated my family for the afternoon while I purchased the car. If I'm still in the area I'll shop there again. The price was fair and the facilities were nice. Good selection although I knew they had what I was looking for before I ever saw the dealership. Everyone I worked with was professional, helpful, and motivated. More

Matt Taylor was great - and I hate car dealerships! We bought a used car recently and had had horrible experiences at other dealers (and this wasn't our first rodeo in buying cars). Honda of Columbia, a We bought a used car recently and had had horrible experiences at other dealers (and this wasn't our first rodeo in buying cars). Honda of Columbia, and specifically Matt Taylor was a breath of fresh air. We did not get the usual run-around, he was straightforward, honest, reasonable, and returned our calls promptly. When we were there he acknowledged our knowledge of the car we were buying (it was a Ford, we are long-time Ford people, had owned one of these before, and had more than done our homework) and even asked us questions - didn't treat us as if we knew nothing. When it came time to talk price H.O.C. actually worked with us and dealt fairly which was something no one else had done (other places tried to nickel and dime us, add extra charges, and talk to us like we didn't know what we were doing, were overall condescending). We left with a great used car and feeling like we had made a good decision and gotten a great deal. My "sleaze meter" never went off here and that was nice :) Post sale was great service as well - there were some extra paperwork things that we needed help with and we got just as quick of a response and just as much attention as we did before the sale - again, pleasantly surprised. Honestly I was shocked - I have never walked into, much less dealt with a dealership that operated this way (we usually try to avoid them at all costs) - treating people like humans, dealing fairly, actually trying to earn respect and business, not bully them into a sale they didn't necessarily want. We drove two hours (because the car we wanted was there) to buy our car - and after this we would do it again in a heartbeat, just because of the excellent service. More

Matt had been courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and very professional when I bought my first Accord Coupe. Buying was so easy, it was almost fun! This time was no different. Through several emails in advance, he made sure that the cars I was interested in were ready to drive when I arrived. Having decided on a car, he and Steven managed to put together a deal within my budget so I was able to drive away in a fabulous new car. Matt even managed to explain the updated audio and other technology to me. If you're going to buy a Honda, see Matt! More
